Is it just me or has this thread become pretty cheesy with way too much information being given? :rotfl2: :scared1:

Well, if you have to ask you usually don't want to know. :lmao: Lox is smoked salmon. Perfect on a bagel with cream cheese (and capers, IMHO), but not everyone's "cup of tea" (or glass of champagne, to stay with a theme). Nice fresh chewy bagel w/plenty of acoutrements is plenty "real," thanks.

I'm just guessing from your location that "real" in your part of the woods means BBQ...that works too! But usually not for breakfast...not for me, at least.

And DDAve...how about some chocolate dipped strawberries to go with that sparkling wine?

But of course, with white chocolate preferred by this prince. :wizard:

Yummy - chocolate covered strawberries (dark or white, whatever) - my absolute favorite!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Hmm, white chocolate is devilishly hard to work with...hope that's not some sort of hidden message... Of course the *right* prince is worth some extra effort...

-Marinate them in Grand Marnier first or no?

I can do better than BBQ for breakfast. I can do Southern or Southwestern. Your choice. :teeth:

Tequilla usually makes me feel romantic...is that what we call it? :p
:teeth: That too! Tequila, champagne, Jellyroll's Koolaid... ::yes:: any of those (in moderation, of course) can be really effective in helping set the mood. :thumbsup2

Beansmom I think you make a good point; the setting can do a lot for what you are eating to make it romantic. That and who you eat it with. :)
