Any Single Disney Men Out There?

I'm wondering if some of the wonderful Disney prince-type guys out there could give us Disney princesses a hint. Where do you go to meet single women?

Actually, I'd like to narrow that down a bit - I'm 50, so I'm thinking mostly about the more mature Disney princes...

Here's my situation - I work mostly from home, and my field is primarily women, so I have few opportunities to meet men through work. I find that the things I am interested in during what little free time I have tend to attract mostly women as well (book clubs, art classes, horseback riding, etc.). I'd really like to meet some more men in the hopes of finding someone to share my life, but I don't know where to start.

Any of you guys want to share? Where could I find guys like you?

Teresa

I keep telling women that taking up golf is a great way to meet guys. And I can tell you that I am seeing more and more couples going to golf course together on the weekends, and down at WDW.

Are you or are you not losing your hair??

Trust me if a guy over 30 has a full head of thick hair he is going to find a picture without a hat or have one taken prior to posting. You only have one chance to make a first impression ;)

Let the record show...I for one think bald(ing) men are extremely sexy!!!

Tracey, my head still has plenty of hair (46) and my pic was taken with a hat on. When I am at WDW I am often wearing a hat, and it is not to cover a thinning head of hair.

Welcome back to CT Dave, I hope you had a great trip!!!!!

Thanks Tink.

Now that I have caught up on the various topics discussed during my trip "home," I have some news to share...as OrlandoMike hinted on the September Golf thread.

Yesterday, I found out that Wishes do come true at WDW.

For many years now, I have longed to get my first hole-in-one, and since 1989 I have modified that wish to have that first ace occur at a WDW course. And on the 7th hole at Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course yesterday I scored my first hole-in-one. :woohoo:

After my round the manager at LBV gave me a plaque noting my shot. At OrlandoMike's suggestion I will take a pic of the award {without my hat on} to share with my many friends here on the boards.

That evening, following special round of golf, I treated myself to a great steak dinner at the Yachtman's.

That is awesome Dave. I used to play a lot of golf (played in highschool), but it's a bit too much money for me now(closest I ever came was hitting the pin).

Congrats :woohoo:

CONGRATS DISNEYDAVE!!!!!

I had one (not at Disney) in 1986...128 yard...shot did not get a foot off the ground...ugliest shot you have ever seen...but it went right in the hole...

Oh and BTW...46 M...full head of hair here...graying at the temples...but that is a sign of maturity right? Yea sure... :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :dance3: :bounce: :firefight

Not all guys post a pic with a car. One of my pics was outside the Yacht Club Galley, and then one was on a golf cart. :thumbsup2
Well, a golf cart is a kind of car, now, isn't it...? Honestly, you guys go ahead and keep posting pictures with your toys in them...just as long as the picture also gives us a good look at your handsome faces. :thumbsup2

Great job, Dave!!! The closest I came to playing golf was doing PR for a golf course and at one outting where my help was needed, driving the golf cart like a mad woman hopping hills almost landing in a lake. Oops. you're not supposed to drive on the green? Oopies!

And I think your dreams come true post stopped a few ladies in here's hearts thinking you met a princess on your trip;)

Good job Dave. I have gotten a few hole-in-ones, but they were at Fantasia Gardens. Also had a few sixes in there too, so it must have been luck.

I'd rather swing a baseball bat than a golf club...I do not get what is so enjoyable about golf! LoL. But wtg on he hole in 1!

I remember my first hole in one. It was atough shot, i had to bank it off the right side board and around the windmill...blind hole, tough....oh wait, never mid, Dave, yours is much more impressive, Congratulations.

I dont golf much anymore but I always said if I hit a hole in one I would simply walk right off the course at that moment knowing it would never get any better than that.

I've been golfing since I was 11 years old....a long time....very long time....and played literally thousands of holes and NEVER...I repeat NEVER had a hole in one so congrats Dave!

Best I did was 3" from a hole twice. Once on a 103 yard hole I teed off with a putter on an the other on a 218 yard severly down hill hole when I plugged a sand wedge next to the hole. I have had an albatross, however!

Someday my hole in one will come....some day...out there....beneath the sunny skies...

Dave - I am so very happy for you! :cheer2: I can only imagine the feeling you had at that moment... :cloud9:

A hole in one and at WDW...Priceless!

A big Disney Congratualtions to you! pixiedust:

Congratulations Dave! I had a hole in one on a par three course once when I was 14. It was an incredible feeling. But havent come close in the 33 years since LOL
