Any Single Disney Men Out There?

Sandy,

I had to think long and hard and did a lot of calculations before I bought in but when I looked at what I was spending for my two trips a year, even at the value resorts at the AP rates, It still worked out to go with the DVC. Now I get to stay at premium level resorts for less that an AP rate at a value. I can stay a week (7 nights) at OKW studio for the equivilant of $560. The same room booked by a non DVC member is $2100 plus tax. A value resort @ $99 a night with tax is like $810.

I also got frustrated with the AP rates. They wouldn't be posted until late in the year and 90% of the time the rate wasn't availalbe at the hotel I wanted to stay at or not for the number of nights I needed. Since non Florida residents can now buy AP's it's going to get tougher and tougher to find available rooms, especially at the moderates.

Have fun on the cruise!

If I hadn't been in February I'd need a fix but I think I can hold out until November. How many posters are DVC members? How many should join since they already go every year?

I am not a DVC member yet, but I am planning on joining eventually. Right now, I need to focus on getting a new car. Maybe next year.

Hi all,
DVC was actually my "divorce present" to myself. I bought a fairly small resale contract @Boardwalk and avoid weekends (when the point "cost") is higher. I only wish I'd done it sooner. DVC, that is, the divorce wasn't my idea.

Okay, I'll chime in as another single DVCer as well.

Well seing as I have been lurking this thread I will finally post, haha :thumbsup2 . Im a Single 23 year old male from Western Canada. My first trip to Disneyland was in 1992 and since then ive been hooked. Since May of 2004 Ive been 6 times and I bought an AP in October 2004 as I wanted to keep going back. In September 2005 on my last day of my trip I bought DVC and I think its the best investment ive made so far. I much prefer Deluxe accomodations than standard hotel rooms (Much better service and feeling of being on Disney property. I havent been to Disneyworld yet but that might change in May i hope if I can find cheap airfare, its about $750 Canadian return to Orlando. Well more about me, I cant seem to find a Single girl that loves Disney as much as me. They all think im crazy for goin to Disney so much, hahaha. Im 5'8, dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, 145lbs and a cute smile. Ive been a Disc Jockey for about 5 years now, I love playing music for people and seing others happy and enjoying themselves.

Are there any decent single girls out there that loves Disney as much as me? Id love to sweep a girl off her feet and treat her like a princess :)

Also lookin for a tour guide if I head to Walt Disney World for the first time, kinda nervous about goin to the World for the first time, haha

Anyone wants to chat feel free to message me.

Ok It's now official!! Just got approval for vacation time and made my ressies for May 10th to the 15th!!
Everyone thinks I am crazy for going solo, but I think it will be much more relaxing! It's just going to be strange not having someone to share it with!!
soo.... what day is good for a mini meet for everyone?

Courtney

Darn - I'm going to be there a few days to early for the mini-meet in May! I'll be there, along with my 3 yr old DD (my 20 month old is staying home with Gramma), my friend (also single) and her 5 yr old DD, flying in on the 3rd and flying out early on the 7th, staying offsite. It's a short trip, but since it's a trip I won, I guess I can't complain! Anyone going to be there on those dates?

I'll also be heading back in October - again only bring oldest DD,but this time my mom and my 8 yr old niece will be with us. We'll be staying at BCV Oct. 13- 21 (not a member, but we're renting points).

DLandguy... you'll LOVE the world....

The first thing I heard when riding the tram to the monorail entrance during my first driving experience to WDW was that D-land would fit in the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom...I just went wow....I'd never been to D-Land but had seen it for years on TV and couldn't fathom how one could be so much bigger. I've been to D-land five times and had a great time each trip but there is not camparision between the two places..

You WILL love the World!

Hi everyone! I'm brand new around here....well, I haven't posted much anyway, I've just been looking around and trying to absorb all this information. I'm planning a trip with my roommate at the end of May. Anyway, I saw this topic and thought it was interesting, as we both find ourselves wondering if there really are guys out there who love Disney like we do. I guess that question has been answered!! Well, I just wanted to pop in and say hi, and that I'm looking forward to learning more, and maybe getting to meet some new friends along the way!

I've always thought about making a Disney personals site, but I have absolutely no knowledge of html or anything like that, so it never happened. This will work instead! I'm a 24 year old female, originally from North Carolina but living within walking distance of Disney right now. Yes, I'm a cast member, and I'm one who will get you discounts and hasn't used any Maingate entrances yet this year! Feel free to PM me if you'd like to talk!

Gotta tell you that having wdwtheplacetobe show you the world would be soooo much better than a guide book or park map. She knows the ins and outs of the parks better than most of the CM's and has experienced the magic behind the magic....
