katydidbug1 said:I wish...If I had enough money and vacation time I would be in the world every chance I get.
But you could always try what my Aunt and Uncle did...if you have a niece or nephew or even younger cousin, old enough to sit for you...you could always bring them along...and the kids would have someone more their "own" age to have some fun with. Not that you and your BF aren't fun..but you know what I mean.![]()
Epcot: Sitting next to the water in Mexico watching Illuminations with a Margarita in hand. This has become sort of routine for me when I am at WDW. It's such a relaxing way to end the day at the parks and unwind.DisneydaveCT said:We have asked each other about favorite romantic spots, favorite restaurants, and favorite resorts.
So now my question is where is your favorite spot to have a drink at the end of the day?
And a follow-up question, if you were to meet someone for the first time, romantically, for a drink, where would you meet?

It's possible we'll go off-site to one of those vacation homes so that we have a number of bedrooms and bathrooms (makes it a lot easier than one or two hotel rooms). When my parents and 2 nieces (10 and 12) went in November 2005 we rented a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom pool home and it was wonderful. I would much rather stay on-site, but getting that site suite/villa is a bit out of my price range.
katydidbug1 said:I know a few people who have stayed off site and rented...(of course those people ended up buying DVC)...becuse of similar situations. They tell me that some of these places are really beautiful...to the point you don't want to leave.
I've never stayed anywhere other then on property. POFQ is my favorite. But I can imagine that multiple rooms can get very expensive.
You will have to let us know how the trip went.![]()
sandy5764 said:The home we rented last November was absolutely gorgeous. I would have no problem living there. The rooms were huge and there was a private pool right outside the living room. It was about 10 minutes from the maingate of Disney, which wasn't bad. I would rent again in a second. I love staying on-site, but there are other benefits of staying off-site - like being able to go somewhere outside of Disney to eat, shop, etc.
The trip won't be until next July, but I can't wait already!!!!

I figured I am not going to need most of my summer clothes (even though its gonna be in the mid 80's here today) so i pulled them from the laundry and put them in my suitcase.
