Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

where do you go to reserve BOG FP+. It does not come up under the fastpass list. Also I don't see fantasmic or illuminations. Is ther a special link for these?

Just called and spoke with a CM about adding one night RO at POP before we check into POFQ 9/20-29. I was told that RO reservations will not be offered Magic Bands or FP+ because these options are not available without a package that includes park passes. I specifically asked about if the RO ressie was linked to my package ressie- does this make it all one big package? The answer was- no it does not. The RO will have a separate ressie number and be considered a separate ressie all together. He insisted that those with RO ressies are not able to customize/order MB.

Has anyone sucessfully customized MB with a RO ressie?

Do we know if all FP+ will be cancelled if the RO ressie is cancelled?

Thanks!:scared:

We check in the 1of sept, At por have done online check in, had them link my reservatio so I can see it and still nothing no choices of magic bands or fast pass, even tried on my phone.

Sorry to have to tell you this but POR doesn't start until Sept 3. You missed out. Me too-we check in sept 2:sad:

pardon my ignorance but what is RO?

Between the stories and opinions posted here, and what the CM's say at Disney, it's pretty obvious that nobody REALLY knows what is going on with this whole FP+/Magic Bands thing.

I just got off the phone with the Disney Internet help desk, and was informed of the following:

1. Magic Bands are only valid at the resorts that are testing.

2. FP+ reservations will only be valid during your stay at each TESTING resort.

3. If you are staying at different resorts (i.e. split stays), you will receive different Magic Bands for each resort. :confused3

Item #3 makes no sense to me. If the Magic Band is RFID, it should be transferable during the entire vacation.

Of course everything regarding this whole new system is changing rapidly, and even CM's are in the dark about many of the details. The best thing to do is wait until we receive actual reports from actual guests, or until Disney rolls the entire program out.

Based on this information, the CM told me that for my upcoming WDW trip, my MB and FP+ may only be valid for the three nights/four days of my AKL reservation. AKL falls in the middle of my three resort trip. CSR and WL are not testing. I did not expect CSR, but was hoping for WL since it is the longest stay on my trip. Oh well. Any days with this test are better than none, in my opinion.

My Magic Band is for a RO reservation at AKL. I booked this through Travelocity. I am on a 3-resort split stay. My room/ticket (MYW) package is at CSR, and I have no MB or FP+ eligibility during that portion of my stay. Some CM's think they are conveying the correct information, but this stuff is changing constantly.

how did you add the AKL ressie from travelocity to your MDE?

At this point it appears that MB's are not associate with tickets, despite what everybody else is saying.

All I know is that one of the guys from Dis Unplugged (the podcast here on site) booked a one day RO to get a band. After that he linked his AP and it is now his AP. I believe he has also been able to book FP+ ever since then.

I linked the travelocity reservation using the 11-digit "confirmation code" on my travelocity confirmation email. This is NOT the same as the "Travelocity Trip ID". That code is 12 digits seperated by spaces (0000 0000 0000).

# 3 is what has happened to me. I had to customize two sets of bands - one for my stay at AoA and one for AKV-Jambo. And I agree, it seems dumb to have two sets of bands.

There is a chance that CMs are telling everyone the band will only work the one day to discourage everyone from booking a one day room just to get them. As of right now we don't know for sure what will happen when a person arrives with the one day reservation. I don't know if anyone in August tried it.

I may have missed it but has anyone seen any of the fireworks in FP+ selections? If so which one and what dates? I keep looking but I may be missing them....

interesting b/c I can't link my hotel from hotels.com... MDE won't recognize the number

Especially when you can mix them up. Imagine heading out to dinner at a different resort, and then to DHS for your Fantasmic! FP+ return window. You get to the amphitheater, and you have the wrong Magic Bands. The CM's turn you away because the theater is at capacity. This would not be good.

But since I booked at hotels.com, how will MDE know when my date to book FP+ is?

You need to create an account at disneyworld.com and access My Disney Experience. That is the page you will want to check back at frequently and click the FP+ link to see if they become available. I haven't ever booked from a 3rd party site, but I know there is a way that you can link your room on the site. Try using the reservation number they gave you.
