Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

Staying at BLT 9/14-9/24 on DVC points. IfI 'm understanding these posts correctly, the only way for my family to get in on the FP+ and MB would be to book a cash (non points) "ghost" ressi on 9/13 at like the AOA? Would that open up the FP+ for my entire trip thru 9/24?

I got the popup around 7 but it did nothing for a while. I just kept checking! I heard it can take up to a full 24 hours after that pop up.


Now that I have one, is it really going to be usable for the trip?

I was able to do fastpass+ yesterday. And when I just logged on to mde, there was a pop-up that said click here to customize magic bands. After I clicked it, it just went to the same page everyone else is getting. The pop-up was new, so probably just a matter of time before we can customize.

Ok so i was going clicking crazy trying to figure out why I didn't have magic bands, so finally I re-did my online check-in and next thing u know I can personalize my magic bands Woohoo

For those arguing about purple or pink earlier, it's pink and listed as pink. It's possible a grey one might have looked purple as well.

Ok I gave in, I switched resorts from POFQ to POR. I also upgraded the room for $70 dollars to a Garden view room. After about an hour I went online to see if I got an email regarding my change and to check my reservations. For fun I hit magic bands and BAM! There it was. So I got to select band colors AND make Fastpass + ressies for all our days. The bonus FP for MK popped up on 3 days as well. I can't tell you how excited I am. I will admit I was bummed. I wasn't bummed enough to book a 'ghost' night at a hotel I wouldn't use. BUT bummed enough to switch to the sister resort. Which I am looking forward to since we have never stayed there. We are excited to get to 'play' with this new technology in Sept. Thanks to all for letting me vent earlier. I am now even more excited then I was earlier about our upcoming trip. If anyone else is on the fence about switching..I say do it if you can. It's a lot of fun selecting rides. I am a planner though.

Just an fyi ...

I just made lunch bog ressie via fastpass on that separate website, so cool by the way, but the number you need to sign in is the number that appears when you go to customize your magic bands. Its on the first page that asks you to verify your address it says in smaller print but still clearly: reservation number, it starts with a 4..... hope this helps someone!!!

my DBF is sleeping and I seriously thought about waking him up to ask him. I reconsidered and I'm sure he'll think I'm insane for even thinking about it when I tell him in the morning.
