Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

Not to be a tease but a few posts back pick we're posted and I am sure that I saw a Purple band in the box. So is purple a new option

Yeah, I guess I don't know how to convey my question....

In an ideal world, as we've seen with the August test, FP+ users would be able to insert their KTTW card into FP machines to get those as well. I assume, though, that Disney will soon disable this double-dipping.

In that world where it's one or the other, is there a way to ensure that I'm in the regular FP side of things? Or basically, is it that if I am staying in one of the hotels activated for September and I have access to FP+ selections, I'm basically locked into the FP+ side of things and thus might as well make selections?

In other words, is there an opt-out mechanism that I forfeit by making FP+ selections?

I don't think so because people who have tested with the bands said they were able to use both BUT that can change at the drop of a hat...so it's like your taking a risk :/ you go and make your selections and disney takes out the capability to use the regular passes....that might bum me a little. But just a little

When you guys are booking your ghost reservation and saying once you have the Magic Bands and FP+ you have access to all days.

Well, we are at AOA 9/26-9/28. Prior to that we are at AKL Kidani. We can only book FP+ for 9/26 forward. No choice for a MB yet, just FP+ access. How are you guys getting to make FP+ for so many days? If it matter my ticket linked is an annual pass.

AOA is the resort that is testing the bands. Therefore your band is not activating for FP+ until the first day of your AOA stay.

The problem is I purchased the annual passes online but haven't used them yet. Will do in September. Is there any way to link them? Even though I don't have the actual card??

I linked my DVC AP using the confirmation number in my email will-call confirmation. There's an option to link will call tickets, I used that. Not sure if you could put in a voucher number if you had vouchers shipped to you though....worth a try!

i pulled the trigger and booked POP for 9/19 one night only RO we already have WL res w/ check in on 9/20 w/ MYW free dinning. within minutes, FP+ was available and MBs were available. We are driving down from SC and were going to be staying offsite on 9/19 anyway, POP is only about $30 more than we would have paid offsite.

I just got to make my FP+ reservations today. I gave also online checked in. We are staying at the CR 9/12-9-21
So if you have access to FP+ dies that mean you will get the magic bands also??

you arrive one day before me to CR and i am also waiting to see if i can get the bands since i already have fp+ but from what i read on MDE your annual pass or card can also act as a magic band so i am keeping my fingers crossed i can get a magic band instead of using my annual pass.

i am really hoping i don't get the gray magic band because on my app its showing i have a magic band which i haven't even customized.

Happened to me and a couple hours later I could customize. Lol I kept the grey cause ill dress it up with the accessories and I won't have to worry about it clashing.

Our trip is at Pop from 9/10- 9/21. I just logged into MDE and a box popped up telling me to customize magicbands and pick FP+. I clicked the link to customize the bands and it brought me to the "Magicbands and Cards" page and showed me 2 KTTW cards but not Magicband options. Does this mean I should just keep checking until it's available?

Also, I'm working on booking the FP+ which it's letting me do but I don't see parade/firework options for MK. Why not?

We have same problem with DD and DSIL's they bought back in March and not activated. I was told no by IT. But maybe because they were bought before they started testing.

you might get the option to customize tomorrow as for the fireworks and parade what i did was modify my whole fp+ selections so more options could show up.

Same here. Even with the receipt that has confirmation it wouldn't. IT confirmed it had to be activated first.

Should I link my MNSSHP tickets? Will they be linked to the Magic Band assigned to each person? I supposed thats what is supposed to happen but who knows if it actually will.
