Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

It might just be to far out. Ppl have said they can't get fp+ yet 4 those dates either....keep the hope alive lol, I've been trying to get a later ressie for scifi for two months lol

I am just glad we got bands to be honest. I think they kids are gonna love them.
 
Quick Question - MB became active for me this morning and I want to make sure I personalize the right way - first step is to confirm shipping address, then we customize?

I'm at AKV Jambo and AoA arriving 9/28 for those that will ask.

...and part two of my question: I have an option to personalize two sets of bands for each of my resort stays. Is that an error?

Anybody? (Yea, I'm antsy. Sorry. LOL)
 
Wow, looks like lots of fp+ and mb action on this thread. I'm still trying to get caught up but y'all are really making me want to switch resorts. I would be going from one value to another so not a big deal as far as which resort. Switching it seems so extreme but I'm seriously considering it! Oh Disney, what a hold you have on me!


Late September? Odd. Most of us checking in after the 7th couldn't even choose FP+ until late yesterday and still no MB option.

Good eye Marblies! I've got my trip on my mind in late September. My friends is the first week in Sept, the 4th I think. Hope I didn't confuse anyone with that.
 

Has anyone linked UT tickets and made FP+ selections? Would this work? We will upgrade to APs once on site.

Also, does online check-in mess anything up for a CL stay? Thought I read somewhere that you shouldn't use online check-in for CL stays. But I really want those MBs!

Just modified my checkin time and then got to customize my bands! Also, there was a confirmation number at the end of the process that was all numbers. I wonder if this number would work for the BOG lunch ressies?? I don't need to try bc we have dinner ADR and no time for lunch there. Maybe someone could give it a try?

Could anyone offer me some advice?

My family is checking in at AKL on September 14 for 7 nights.

We are FL resident annual passholders.

I have NOT done online check in. (Do I need to?)

We have the older style paper ticket with the bar code and numbers underneath.

I've tried for weeks to link those tickets to MDE by entering the numbers and by scanning the bar code on my mobile device. I would always get the error that these tickets couldn't be linked at this time. Yesterday I tried again and presto I was able to scan the tickets and they seemed to link.

Now under My Reservations in the tickets section it shows a pass linked to me, it shows it's expiration date correctly but in orange letters says: We're sorry. The complete details for this ticket or pass are not available at this time. Please check back soon.

When I try to do Fastpass + I get to the screen where you select party members and it says we need valid park admission... Grrr... :crazy2:

From your knowledge thus far is there anything else I could/should do? Again, I did not do online check in, not sure that would help since my issue seems to be in getting my passes to link properly. Should I call the Disney tech line? I know not to mention Fastpass + or Magic Bands. I would just say I'm trying to link my passes so I can view passholder offers.

Go to "modify checkin" in the right column. Change the time of your check in. Complete the modify checkin process.

Magic Bands will show up, under the "personalize magic bands" area, if you are elegable.

You don't actually have to modify anything (such as check-in/out time) if you redo your check-in. Just click continue at each step until you're done and the personalize link will appear.

I am there 9/28-10/5 at POR. I was able to customize my MB today but I still cant choose any FP+ beyond 9/28. Maybe think I'm just too far out?

The 28th is the last day (for now) that FP+ is available. I'm guessing that they will add more days eventually.
 
OK we are down to 22 days now and still no access to having an option to test FP+ or MB since we are staying at ASMu and apparantly not in the test group. I know that some folks have said they did not get a message until 17 days out, or 11 days or on and on, but realistically, don't you think that IF Disney were to add a new resort for testing for September, they would have already included it?

Know I should not be, but I'm really bummed out by this.
 
Just got ours (pink and green!) for checkin Sept 8 at POR. We're only there 2 nights. But I just wanted to try them and get a jack skellington button for it!

Some people on a different thread booked them into October but I think they are at a different resort. Pop maybe? Not sure but I know there are people who said they booked into the first week of October and arrive late sept. I am sure if I give it time it will eventually be available.
 
I have another question concerning room only ghost ressie at pop. Will that affect my magical express For the day that we are actually arriving?
 
okay so i am getting now the customize pop up message as of today yet i haven't done online check-in should i go about the option of doing online check-in so i can customize them right away or wait till the message isn't fully glitched ?

Also, we have the cards for tickets mailed to us last week. Weill we be receiving the bands or not?
 
Leaving in 33 days and staying at AKL. Was able to select all our Fastpass+ attractions for each day yesterday and after modifying my online check-in, I am now able to customize mine and my wife's Magic Bands. Noticed that we only have 2 days left to customize them and have them shipped to us or we would have received the plain grey ones at check-in I assume since we would be less than a month away. Luckily I saw this post this morning.
 
I changed our first two nights to AKL. It was amazing how fast everything came up in MDE. I already ordered our magicbands. :banana:
 
Has anyone actually gotten confirmation that cancelling these "ghost" reservations won't negate the magic bands/FP+? I would think that you actually need to check into the test resort to activate the bands... I would hate for everyone to go through all this now only to get there and find out it didn't work...

I only have access to FP+ until Sept 28th (it says unavailable for me from the 29th onward). I'm at POP. dance2874 said (a few posts up) that some people have gotten FP+ into October, but I haven't seen what resorts that is for (if any).

If you do online check in, the "personalize magicbands" link might appear on the right hand side of your MDE main page - but I don't know for sure. I had to redo my check-in to get it to appear.

Your card tickets can probably be added (linked) to your account through the website. If not, they can do this at WDW, too. None of that should change you being able to get Magicbands.

Many people are worried about making sure they get an e-mail telling them they are part of the Magicband testing, but I personally don't think it makes any difference if you get the email or not. If you have access to FP+ and Magicbands on the MDE site, I'm pretty sure you'll get them and they'll be functional, but that's just my opinion.
 
We check in the 1of sept, At por have done online check in, had them link my reservatio so I can see it and still nothing no choices of magic bands or fast pass, even tried on my phone.
