Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

If you do online check in, the "personalize magicbands" link might appear on the right hand side of your MDE main page - but I don't know for sure. I had to redo my check-in to get it to appear.

Your card tickets can probably be added (linked) to your account through the website. If not, they can do this at WDW, too. None of that should change you being able to get Magicbands.

Many people are worried about making sure they get an e-mail telling them they are part of the Magicband testing, but I personally don't think it makes any difference if you get the email or not. If you have access to FP+ and Magicbands on the MDE site, I'm pretty sure you'll get them and they'll be functional, but that's just my opinion.[/QUOTE]

thanks. I was able to get thru to the personalize MBs part. And I confirmed my address. So I guess after I select the color and such they will ship them. But I have to wait until tonight when my wife and I are together to select the color. This will be a long day. lol

We check in the 1of sept, At por have done online check in, had them link my reservatio so I can see it and still nothing no choices of magic bands or fast pass, even tried on my phone.

Apparently POR is only eligible for check-ins on or after 9/3.

I went in and customized my family magic bands. is there a button I am missing to order them? I

updated them all and my choices are continue planning my visit or view additional magic bands.

It says this is my last day to customize them so do they just ship tomorrow however I have them set? Or should I see a button that lets me submit them to process the order?

It will process on its own. In a few hours/ tomorrow you will see that customize link change to "Your bands are being customized". So long as you have your colors and names set right you can just leave it be for now.

My question is, it gave me an option to customize a band for my infant who is under 2 and does not have/need a ticket, is this right? I mean she doesn't technically need one, but she would want one if we all have them. Anyone else able to make a band for their infant?

Has anyone actually gotten confirmation that cancelling these "ghost" reservations won't negate the magic bands/FP+? I would think that you actually need to check into the test resort to activate the bands... I would hate for everyone to go through all this now only to get there and find out it didn't work...

I would be mildly concerned about booking a fake stay with regard to FP+. Since the FP+ selection system is currently tied to your resort selection, once you cancel the participating resort it could possibly prevent you from adding/changing FP+, and at worst, it might erase them.

okay so i am getting now the customize pop up message as of today yet i haven't done online check-in should i go about the option of doing online check-in so i can customize them right away or wait till the message isn't fully glitched ?

My question is, it gave me an option to customize a band for my infant who is under 2 and does not have/need a ticket, is this right? Is her age specified in your account? Either way, it can't hurt for her to have one. You'll never need to actually use it for anything, but it won't really change anything either way. And if you don't customize it, they'll just give you a gray for her at check-in anyway, so if the band is there, you might as well customize it.

We were able to get a band for our one year old. Well, it let me order one. We will see when we the bands arrive. Thought it was odd too, but will be nice for future trips...won't have to order him one!

I was able to order MB and have access to FP+, but I get a pop up that says "sorry at least one person in your party must be within the FP window". We check into beach club Sept 12. Anybody else get this?

I was able to customize for my two year old who doesn't have a ticket too

Yep I was able to get one for my DS2 too! It is cool to have, but since he wont have a ticket not that necessary. We will see if they really send him one

Still can't access Fastpass + because I'm having a ticket issue but just did online check in for AKL and was just able to customize our Magic Bands! So it definitely seems like online check in at one of the participating resorts opens that option up.

Yes my ds is two and gets one, I think they did it on purpose. He would have wanted one if we all had one
