Any schools have fall break second week of october?

We're planning our first family Disneyland trip second week in October during our son's Hawaii school fall break....just wondering if other schools have that same week off? I think Arizona and Alabama do too. Just want to get an idea of how crowded it will be, thanks in advance!

Utahs fall break begins October Wed. October 16-20. Yes a lot of us head that way for the 5 day break.

Northern NV (Washoe County) has the week of Oct 14 off, which I guess is the 3rd week. Since every school in the district has that week off starting this year I could see a large wave of families taking that time to vacation.

CHOC Walk is on the schedule for Sun Oct 13
Columbus Day is Monday Oct 14

Mickey Halloween Parties are going on too. Order your tickets so you'll be in for sure!!!

Looking at the predictions on TouringPlans the weekends look busy. Mid week appears to be lighter. General rule for weekends, go for opening before the crowd arrives.

I live in San Jose, CA and our school district has the first week of October off. The district has over 30,000 kids and Disneyland is a popular destination that week.

We're going in the first/ second week for a big family reunion because its the one time, all year long, that all the kids are out at the same time. A lot of the year-round California schools have a week or two off in October.

Thanks for the replies so far, I didn't see fall breaks on the Los Angeles school calendar so it's a big surprise that other California schools have fall breaks. I'm glad I asked.

Arizona fall breaks are all over October. I teach and my break is the 1st week. My children have the 2nd week and a friend of mine is the 3rd week. October is no longer a slow time at DL.

We are also from Hawaii and going during the break. Last year we were there the same time and it was fun to see all the other Hawaii people, even friends you didn't know where going to be there

LAUSD is only one of hundreds of districts in SoCal, it only covers LA City (excludes the rest of LA county, and obviously the several other SoCal counties).

We're in the LA suburbs and our elementary districts are off the 2nd week. The HS district has a partial week that week.

Yes some schools in Kern County (Central Valley, CA) have the second week off in October.

Yes. We are on fall break that week and are going to DL. I'm in the northern LA area in Santa Clarita

Mesa Unified School District, in AZ, has their Oct. Break the second week.

We'll be at Disneyland, along with 1000s of our closest friends!

After much research I found that a ton of school districts have that 2nd week of October off so that is why I booked the 3rd (21st-25th) week of October for our family trip to hopfully avoid extra crowds. Seems like I made a good choice. Wooo Hoooo

Touringplans shows the crowd level on Oct.7 & 9 as 1 out of 10....I wonder how accurate that is? Curious to see what crowd level 1 is like.

I live in Nor Cal and my kids have year round school. We have fall break the 1st and 2nd week of October. We are planning on being at DL Mon -Wed of the second week.
