Any schools have fall break second week of october?

So far, schools that have fall breaks are Hawaii, Arizona, Utah, and No. Cal, not too bad.

And southern CA.

Ventura CA schools are out Oct 21st - 25th - 90 minutes from DL

Our fall break starts oct 14th, central California. We were there that week in '09 and it was pretty crowded but not overwhelmingly so.

I live in Ventura County and the district that I am in has no breaks or days off in October.

LAUSD is only one of hundreds of districts in SoCal, it only covers LA City (excludes the rest of LA county, and obviously the several other SoCal counties).

We're in the LA suburbs and our elementary districts are off the 2nd week. The HS district has a partial week that week.

Yes. We are on fall break that week and are going to DL. I'm in the northern LA area in Santa Clarita

fewer and fewer schools in CA are doing Fall Break, (I am speaking as a teacher of 12 years), it makes students either start really early or stay later in the school year and a lot of schools are trying to associate their yearly schedules with that of the colleges.

I am in the Northern LA area and we don't have any fall breaks here.

Another Northern LA county/Santa Claritian here. We have fall break the 7-11. And we will be there the 6-9. All 4 elementary school districts have the entire week off and the Jr. High/High School district has Monday and Tuesday off.

We actually quit going in October due to the huge increase in crowd levels over what it used to be. I've been in summer for 2 years and found the crowds less intense in July than our previous few trips in October.
