Any San Antonio suggestions?

Guenther House is definitely a good place for breakfast. We ate there twice on our last visit to SA. The zoo is also a nice place to visit.

Whenever we go to San Antonio we always stop on the way home for Sunday brunch at Los Patios. I think it's one of the most beautiful spots in the area.

Just wanted to thank everyone for all the great suggestions. For those that asked we are planning on going to the Natural Bridge Caverns.

Printing out this thread & puting it in my luggage now. If we could just get rid of all the rain the upcoming forecast we'd be all set.

Just wanted to reply that we had a GREAT trip! Followed a lot of your suggestions. We stayed at Hotel Contessa on the Riverwalk for 3 nights, loved the hotel & the location. Riverwalk was great and loved Casa Rio, we ate there twice. Did the Tower of Americas, Hemisfair park, the Alamo (kids were totally bored), and the River cruise (fun!). Went to the Caverns in New Braunfels and really enjoyed them. Also did the rope course there which was a lot of fun. At lunch at the Gristmill which we loved and visited Gruene & Gruene Hall. We then moved to the Hyatt Wild Oak for 4 nights. This place was FANTASTIC! Pools, waterslides & lazy river were all so much fun. Also had access to the Hyatt Regency next door for even more pools, waterslides, & another lazy river. We visited Aquatica & Seaworld. Both were much smaller than the ones in Orlando but there were no lines at all so we got to ride everything multiple times. Visited Kemah Boardwalk before our flight out of Houston & had a great time there as well. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Glad you had a great time! You went to some of my favorite places. My son and his family are moving here this month so I'm really going to miss visiting them there! I love Gruene. Such a cute town with neat shops. I love the general store there and their cinnamon honey butter is to die for! What did you have a Gristmill?

Love the Kemah Boardwalk (dad lived in Galveston for 20 years so I love that part of Texas).

Glad you had a good trip.
