Any rooms still available for FD in January?

Has anyone been able to book a reservation lately for January using the FD promo? I've been trying all sorts of different date combinations and haven't been able to get anything... looks like we missed our opportunity.

When are you planning on going? Where are you planning on staying (value, moderate, deluxe?)

I just put in Jan. 23-29 for two adults at CSR and the Free Dining promo came up with availability, same goes for CBR and AKL. Value resorts are also available during this week - ASMo & ASMu.

could any of the dates you're using be blackout dates?

blackout dates are Jan 6-8 and Jan 14-20, if you try to use even one day during these blackout periods, it says no rooms available...

You can't start the trip on a blackout day!

I just booked two rooms at CSR for Jan 12-17 with free dining this afternoon around 4pm. Have you checked all the resorts?

Hmm...that isn't the way it worked for me today. I booked 2 rooms with an arrival date of 1/12 and had no problem getting FD.

I totally misworded my last post, I actually knew that you couldn't start the trip on a blackout day, but you can start it on a non-blackout day and extend into the blackout period.

I knew what I was trying to say, I just said it wrong!

That';s just the way isney's free dinign works. You have to start your trip on one of the available free dinign days.

I moved my vaca up a day to take advantage of FD.

I checked a couple of days ago (messing around) and looks like lots of availability.

Booked on last day of free dining promo (12/20) and had our choice of resorts across the board from value to deluxe, sure wish my wallet had those choices!

All values and all moderates and all villas as well as 3 deluxes but didn't even try to switch dates around as they had what I wanted on dates I needed.

1/23-1/29. First stay at Pop but at least we are going. It's been far to long as we took some time off to do Disney cruise line instead (two cruises and all the food you could possibly want, ).

Since we need two rooms now (youngest is 5 yrs old now) value it was. Hope we don't lose to much magic. Only one other stay in a value and it was not magical at all unfortunately. But I'm not a fan of POR either and last stay there due to family with 5 at time was not super great either except location in Bldg 14. Oh give me my deluxes any day over the rest.

Oh my! I do need a better attitude! I am going to Disney for goodness sakes! And I am thinking attendance in the parks will be low, low, low, yippie! And my dining ressies went right through and we got what we wanted so here's hoping.
