Just had to post to tell you "Great spreadsheet, Mike!":p

Hi,

I just passed ROFR.
VWL
October UY
270 points (plus 270 from 2003)
$76/point
Buyer paid all MF and closing costs

Bought at SSR and got the point virus so i decided to get a resale at VWL since it sounds wonderful and its the smallest resort.

Jim.

Hey, Mike, providing a link to the spreadsheet was a great way to do this! Much easier/quicker than trying to create the table in HTML! Hope to see "PASSED ROFR" next to your name very soon

Congratulations to everyone that passed this week. The spreadsheet looks great. I'm hoping that they all say passed soon. Thank you Mike. Even though I passed, I can't stay away from this group. I feel like a cheerleader and at my age. Best to everyone still waiting.

PS I'm not putting my home resort with my signature until the fat lady sings or I am notified I am truly a member, whichever comes first

Congrats Micki1 :sunny: . How exciting!!!! You must be so relieved. Glad to hear all this good news....sure hope it means there's lots of pixie dust out there!!!

Mike...Thank you so much for creating that spreadsheet! That is super :smooth: .

DH, DS, and I will be at WDW over the holidays. Staying at AK Concierge the night of 12/28 (gonna do the sunrise safari!), then moving to BWV until we leave late 1/3! We'd be interested in hooking up with one and all!

Congratulations and welcome home neighbor! After purchasing at BWV, we also decided that we wanted to own at VWL -- particularly to be able to book Christmas time at the 11-month mark. Just passed ROFR in mid-August; closing was to have taken place Wednesday but there have been some delays due to the hurricanes and the buyers being from South America. Our contract is quite similar to yours (October UY, 370 points from 2003 and for 2004, $72 per point with us paying all MF and closing costs). Have fun planning your trips, especially using all those banked points -- like getting a free vacation, isn't it??

Congrats to all who passed so far this week!!! I really hope everyone else hears soon!!! Pixie dust to all of you!!!

Mike - thanks for the spreadsheet. It's great!!!

Congrats to all. A special thanks to Mike for the spreadsheet. One edit...seller is paying for current points for us.

Thanks again, Mike.

Kim

Thanks for working on that spreadsheet mike!!!

as for the new year reunion, were in!!!. Don, we will probably end up at SSR too. We will try for VWL, but if not available we will wait list there and make ressies at SSR. I would like to check out SSR anyway.

Ruthnpaul, we are AKL concierging it on the 2nd and 3rd. my daughter turns 6 on the 3rd , so we are going to try to do the Sunrise Safari, do you know if it is everyday?

Okay, how may personal messages were in that???? Is that a record. My appologies!!!

Of course I am cheering for EVERYONE in ROFR....you all know that for sure!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :thewave: :cheer2:

So glad we are all here together!!!!

Kathleen

It's so weird...I could access Sunrise Safari on the internet last week, but cannot seem to find it now. It is NOT every day. We were thinking of adding a day to our trip, and going on Dec 2, or 3...but, it was not either of those days. I seem to remember it being only a couple of days a week, but I cannot remember which ones. I would definitely call on that one.

Good luck!!

The following information regarding the Sunrise Safari at AK was taken from www.allearsnet.com. Unless something has changed, the safari is only available on Tuesdays & Saturdays (which means it won't work for us -- darn it!!)

What is the Sunrise Safari?

Sunrise Safari Breakfast Adventure is available to concierge guests only. The tour, along the safari ride path, lasts about 45 minutes and includes multiple stops so that you can stand up and take many pictures. Each of the animals along the way is described in great detail, since there is plenty of time. The Adventure is available on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

After the Safari, you go to Tusker House for a breakfast buffet which includes both standard American and African items. Each person also gets a FastPass to Kilimanjaro Safari to experience it "the regular way".

Bill Leska writes: We just returned from a six night stay at AKL, where we did the Sunrise Safari twice. It was that great! Here are a couple of updates you may want to consider:

The price is now just a shade less than $50 per person, including tax. (Our total for three people was $149.xx.) The fact sheet says it's $39.95. It leaves the AKL at 7:30, not 6:30 as shown. (I imagine that this would probably vary with season, the park's opening time, etc., but for our trip, it left at 7:30.)

The fact sheet said that there was a limit of 28 persons. This wasn't the case for either of our safaris. One of them had 55 people and the other had about 50. However, there does appear to be a limit to the number of people: We went on the safari on a Saturday and like it so much, we booked it again for the following Tuesday. As the Concierge was setting things up, he mentioned that it looked good, because there wasn't anyone on the waiting list. (Having a waiting list indicates to me that there is a limit of some kind.)

As I mentioned, we had a great time on the safari and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who enjoys the Animal Kingdom's Kilimanjaro Safari. The Sunrise Safaris were the highlight of our trip. (7/04)

The group leaves AKL at 6:30am and you are transported to the Animal Kingdom's Kilimanjaro Safari area.

It can be booked up to 90 days out, by contacting AKL concierge directly (once you have your room reservation).

Congratulations, Michael623!!!

Staying waiting to hear good news for everyone still waiting!!!

Pixie dust to all of you!!!!

Kathleen....we LOVED the sunrise safari thru AKL concierge. It is wonderful. You will have a great time :).

Congrats, Michael!!!!

I haven't actually seen a VWL NOT pass!! Here's hoping I am not the first!!!

I have been reading this post for the past couple of weeks..we just passed ROFR on Sept. 1st and went through the "anxios moments" on another thread, so I didn't post here till now. I did see Mike's spreadsheet and thought I would add my info for the group, so here it is:

BCV
250 points
Feb UY
buyer pays closing
seller pays MF
73.00/point
went to ROFR 8/17 and passed ROFR on 9/2.
I think the spreadsheet is just great and hopefully those of you still waiting will be able to have all your dreams come true soon enough...I know how hard the waiting is and pixie dust to all!!!
PS....we'll be down in Oct (hopefully without any more hurricanes!) and 12-18 through 12-24....anyone else???

Belle,

Congratulations on passing ROFR! Great contract, great price, particularly since the seller paid MFs! Have fun using those points!
