I am a REALLY bad night owl...but, it's only 10PM here in Arizona. Of course, I have been known to be on the boards until the sun comes up....I have really bad insomnia!!!

But, that's not my excuse now....now, it's just a married mom who has a boring life...no more "late Sat nites out for me!!!"

Yes ROFR does that it leaves you waiting up all night hoping some real estate broker is going to call you at midnight to tell you you passed (LOL) Ok Beca I admit it. Dad of two with No life Oh well, Now I live for DVC

Congratulations to all who passed ROFR this past week!!! We too passed ROFR on Sept. 17. Details: October 350 VB with 58 pts banked and we pay $70 plus MF and closing costs. This went to Disney on 9-9-04 and we used Jaki Apetz, A Timeshare Broker.
What a smooth and quick process! We were ROFR on a Dec 400 Pt VB with 239 banked at 67.50.

Does anyone here know if you ever close early? Our scheduled closing is the 22nd.

How soon after that are you in the Disney system?

This is interesting...I looked at the estimated closing date on our first contract and we were estimated to close on May 3rd. Our deed was recorded on April 9th, and that was the day I made ressies into DVC's system. Our contract was signed on March 8th. I did "bug" people and plead with them to get us in the system so I could make ressies...I guess it worked. A month from contract to close is pretty good!!

Hi everyone I am a new member to the board and I am so greatful for all the information that I have gained from reading this site. We went to ROFR on Sept 8 and we heard that we got our contract for BCV 150 pts $76 per point with 142 banked points and UY February this past Friday Sept 17. So good luck to everyone waiting.

Kathleen, we were scheduled to close by 9/10 but just closed today -- some delays due to weather, others to the sellers being outside the U.S., not witnessing docs, etc. But we are now OFFICIAL VWL owners with an October use year -- hooray!! Will probably start calling Disney at the end of the week to see if we're in the system. Watch out when that 11 month window opens to reserve at Christmas 2005! Hope you hear no later than Wednesday!

Also congratulations and Welcome Home to Michelle on passing ROFR at BVC! Have fun planning those vacations!!

This is murder, I am so hoping to hear this week, either way, I just have to know if we got it or if I have to start shopping again. The most painful thing is seeing a contract you want when you don't know if you are in with the one you have, especially with BCV which just don't come around ever, when you see one you just want to grab it

OK paranoia is setting in, I guess a slew of us should hear something tomorrow or Thursday everybody crossed fingers, if you pray, pray; If you meditate, meditate; If you eat, eat; its the home stretch (we Hope)
