any reviews on Frontier

I flew them from Trenton to Tampa last year. We are flying out of Wilmington this Thursday. I will let you know how it goes. They were fine out of Trenton. As expected, it was a small operation and, for the first time, we actually walked onto the plane (even the back)! We didn't have to pay for parking either. Overall, we were very happy.

We have flown Frontier a few times from Nashville to Santa Barbara to visit our daughter. I have yet to be on a flight that isn't delayed by 30 minutes to an hour. We have to connect in Denver and it is a mess near the Frontier gates. My husband has said from now on we will pay extra and fly American!

No experience flying from Wilmington, but I've flown them out of Trenton multiple times and had great experiences each time.

Flew in 2 of their sardine cans from ANC to DEN and DEN to NYC. Terrible, never again. It's Jetblue or Southwest for me (at least to and from WDW).

3darlings, we will be on the same flight Thursday! Wondering how it will go after some of the reviews online for Frontier! Hoping for a smooth flight!

We flew Frontier out of Wilmington for our Christmas trip and loved it. It is now our go-to Disney airport even though we live just minutes from PHL. Can't beat the prices and it was just SO easy.

We actually booked a bounceback for the end of January and are flying out of Wilm. again. $160 pp roundtrip.

The airport is tiny. Parking is free. We scored a front row spot so we only had to haul our luggage a few yards before checking it.

There are no real options for food inside, so definitely eat before you get there.

You have to walk outside to get to the plane but it wasn't too bad. Because they aren't right up against the building we actually loaded using two different entrances, which made it was easier and faster to board.

I just wish Disney did resort check-in for Frontier. That was the one drawback (having to haul our own checked luggage on the Magical Express on the way back.)

When things go well it's wonderful to fly frontier out of a small local airport. But when things don't go well....that's another story.

We fly out of Trenton- which used to be a deal but now they are charging for parking and flights cost more than PHL. We had problems on our last two flights- preventsble ones, like the plane needed to be de-iced because they didn't realize it would be so cold (the cold temps that day were predicted 10 days prior). The first flight of the day seems to rarely leave on time. This week. My mother was boarded on Sunday morning, then told the passengers they needed to salt the runway and left to sit on the plane for two hours. Why not salt while they wait in the terminal. And if your flight is canceled, your next best flight might be two days away, and they will not rebook you on another airline at a major airport.

I am not saying don't fly them, just know that you roll the dice. I would fly them again if their prices went back down.
