Any reviews of Story of Celebartion Tour?

I did the dining package on May 17. Looking at the people sitting in the tour section, the average age looked to be 25-45 years old. I didn't see any children in the tour area.
Mostly adults on my tour with some teenagers. The viewing area for my tour had a few young children 8+.

I'm on the fence about this one. I'm excited about it, and I generally love the tours, but I have limited time in the parks. I'm coming in from NYC in the AM and spending it in the park, staying at Disneyland Hotel, then heading out first thing in the AM. I'll be back the next night for Pride Night.

As an avid reader books around Disney history, I do know a lot about the people and attractions involved, so I am not sure how much will be new. That unto itself doesn't bother me- it's always good to hear things from a slightly different perspective- but coupled with my time constraints this might not be the time for me to go.

...on the other hand, when will I get to do this again? If anyone cares to share their POV, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I think most of us are only doing it for the parade seating...I know I am..but I go multiple times a year and know a lot of Disney history. I just want to good view for parade, hopefully not too crowded.

Thanks very much - this info is VERY helpful! We have a reservation for our late-July visit but will check back earlier that month to see if anything has changed. Right now I'm leaning towards dropping it. (We were able to add the D23 Studios tour and that's much more of a bucket list tour for me.)

I am conflicted about this tour too. My biggest hang up is the parade viewing location. I want to be able to see the fireworks /castle projections right after and this location doesn't allow that easily.

WORST DISNEY EXPERIENCE EVER! Well, that might be a wee bit dramatic but honestly, it was horrid. It was not well organized at all.

The tour guide whose name I have now completely cleansed from my mind (Paula?)...she's been a tour guide "since the 70's"and should probably consider retirement SOON. She rambled and repeated herself...had us walking practically in circles, back and forth between Tomorrowland and Frontierland, then Fantasyland, nope back to Frontierland...it was nutso. Half the time her mic wasn't working properly. Ijust wanted it to be over.

20 of us in the group, I am sure I wasn't only one who felt cheated. But I just wanted the parade seating but frankly, I wish I could have just purchased a seat out right and not wasted two hours of the day.

We did the Mark Twain and RR and they gave us a MEP for attraction of our choice.

The one bonus was I got a treat voucher worth $10 at any cart sinceI can't eat popcorn...so that was unexpected and appreciated.

But as far as being informative, many folks on this board (myself included) could have written a more entertaining presentation.

So unless you really want that seating, I'd save the $$$$.
