Any Resort Suggestions?

Hello,
We're coming down in April with our Girl Scout Troop and our families for the Disney Cruise. Seven families will be staying 2 or 3 nights longer. I've stayed in a few different timeshares before because of offers I've received, but I haven't received any this year. We do not want to stay in hotels because we like the amenities offered with timeshare resorts (namely, separate bedrooms and Washer/Dryers).
I've checked Orlando Vacations 4 Less and Tropical Palms Fun Resorts (which I'm not sure offers the w/d in the rooms).
I've checked the Disboard search engine and checked other people's posts which included different sites for discount hotel/resort reservations.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
It is appreciated.
Thank you,
Corryn

We recently purchased a week at the Vistana after staying there 3 times over the past several years. Twice, we rented from owners after seeing ads on tug2.net (timeshare user's group). We also used vacationsonly.com once. I would highly recommend looking on TUG as there are also a lot of other properties listed there.

for timeshares most of the good deals are for 7 nights. Not 2 or 3.

have you looked at

www.hotelkingdom.com

Cypress Pointe Grand Vista

also
Oak Plantation Resort

there are both timeshares

also Amerisuities is kinda of nice.

I'm sorry, I missed the 2-3 nights bit...spiceycat is right, we actually considered the CPGV and found a great rate on Hotel Kingdom (I just did a quick search and a 3BR villa right now is $142.68 per night)...didn't work out for our trip, but it looked pretty good - great location.

Also check out the privately rented homes with multiple bedrooms. Although most owners prefer to rent for a full week, if it's a slow time many are willing to rent for fewer nights. vrbo.com is a good site for contacting private owners. Barring that, try closesttodisney.com and holidayvillas.com. Closesttodisney rents a variety of condos, villas and multi-bedroom homes for any number of nights. Holiday Villas also rents by the night. About 5 years ago we stayed in their 3br unit. The bedrooms slept 6 (1Q bed, 1K bed, third room with 2 twins) and there were 2 queen sized sofa beds in the living room.

Whoa! I'm gonna be busy tonight puckerup:
I appreciate your responses and will see if hopefully we can use one.
I tried Hotelkingdom.com but nothing was good for us.
I'll try the others.

But if anyone has any other suggestions, I would still appreciate them.
Thanks again :flower:
