Any recommendations to eat at MGM?

hmmmm, we like Brown Derby, Sci Fi and 50's Prime Time Cafe!

I would think Brown Derby for the food, 50's Pime Time for both the food and the show, and SciFi for the Ambiance.

If you like Italian, Mama Melrose is great too, esp with the Fantasmic Pkg...

I too vote for 50s prime time. My kids loved it....especially when dad didn't finish the veggies on his plate...also, they couldn't get over the fact that TV was once in black and white...

If you're doing the dining plan I highly recommend Mama Melrose and book the Fantastmic package, included in the plan. GREAT food, and reserved seating (no lines) for Fantasmic, CAN'T BEAT IT! Have a great trip!

We really like 50's Prime Time, but I haven't eaten at the others, so can't compare them. Also, remember that there may be a new character meal starting at MGM in April - but probably just for breakfast and maybe lunch.

The fried cheese appetizer at 50's was fabulous, though! And the atmosphere is great!

I'd vote for Brown Derby with Fantasmic package or 50's Prime Time. Depends on what you're looking for in a meal.

Hollywood and Vine! Very good food, a buffett or menu, so there's something for everyone. Best bang for the buck.

Everyone needs to try 50's Primetime at least once. It is so much fun!! We also really liked the Sci Fi. The spinach dip appetzier was great!

Brown Derby!!!! Excellent food, great service, worth every penny.

We really enjoyed it -- it was fine pizza -- way way way better than the pizza we ordered via room service. Also, there are no kids meals, so the kids get the same pizza as adults.

Don't forget about Hollywood and Vine, They have an EXCELLENT buffet. If you're not into the buffet style dinners then it might not be for you. One advantage is that once you are seated, you can start dinner and not have to wait and order drinks and then wait and order dinner and then wait for it to come out and then wait for dessert etc...
The food at this buffet is of excellent quality! Just be sure to make reservations!
