We will most likely be hitting up the EMH at HS this Friday night. Has anyone done this recently? How's crowding/waits now in TSL late at night?

TIA!

We went and the wait times were much worse than just being there the last hour and a half before close on a regular day.
On the EMH night we waited 25 minutes for Alien Saucers, 25 minutes for Toy Story Mania and 45 minutes for Slinky Dog.
The following Tuesday we went in the land around 9:15 and did Toy Story mania for a 15 minute wait, Alien Saucers for a 10 minute wait, Slinky Dog for a 30 minute wait and then Toy Story Mania again with a 5 minute wait.
Also Andy's lunchbox and the seating was much less crowded on the non EMH night.

Hmmmm……that does not sound so great, but I guess it is doable. We are staying off site this time, and our DHS day next Friday has both morning as well as evening EMH. We are out of luck at both opening and closing. We do have FP for TSM, RRC, and Star Tours, so the only thing we have to wait in line for is SDD. The other rides are not really a priority, even Alien Saucers. We were thinking about using our AM FP (8am, 9am, and 10am), leaving, and then coming back to tour in the evening and just dealing with standby by lines. I'd really like to ride SDD at night. Or, you know, at all. Wish me luck!

They have morning extra magic hours every morning.
If you want to ride it at night just get in line right before they close. We did that twice and the amount of time we waited both times was about half of the posted times. We even did rider switch. It's awesome at night!!

We went on Friday 8/3. We watched the Star Wars fireworks at 10 and walked with a huge crowd towards toy story land. It was about 10:20. Tsm was 45 minutes, slinky was 75 and saucers was 40. We stood inline for woody and Jesse and waited forever. It was after 11 and slinky still said 75. My dd and I waited and it was about 35 minutes in line. My dh and ds waited for saucers for 40 minutes. It was starting to slow down around 12.

We were there the same night (and probably waited in the same Woody/Jesse line as we got in line right around 10:15)...The area was SO CROWDED. We were going to do all three Toy Story rides but decided to head to ToT and RnRC whose waits were very, very low.

We had better luck on Tues and Thursday night.

Tues - got in Slinky Dog line around 10:15 with 70 min posted wait...actual was 40
Thurs - got in Slinky Dog line around 10:25 with 45 min posted wait...actual was 22

Another observation...Saturday morning seemed to have lighter crowds at HS. I'm thinking because most on-site guests tried to "do" Toy Story land on Friday night late so they didn't want to get to HS by 7 (really...6:45).

We did them in July on a Friday and waited 40 min for slinky during the 2nd Fantasmic. Toy story land was crowded but seeing it all lit up at night is awesome.
