Well, as you can see by my 'tag', I'm not a great fan of the dentist :scared1:

Tomorrow I'm off to have a back tooth out with i/v sedation at my daughter's dentist.
My own NHS dentist has tried to prepare it for a crown twice but it's too sensitive, despite local anaesthetic :confused3

Even though I'm desperate to get it all over and done with I'm absolutely terrified..... I'm not even allowed an alcoholic drink for 24 hours before :scared:
Anyone got any tips....? :flower3:

Oh I feel for you, I really do, I hate the dentist as well, as your not allowed a little tipple how about one of the herbal "Kalms", I used to take them years ago and they def take the edge of the nerves. Good luck to you, Im sure it will all go well for you, loads of hugs:hug:

Thanks Sue

I don't have any Kalms but did go and dig out some old herbal 'stress relief' tablets ;)
Goodness knows what the expiry date might be but I've taken one anyway.

Now the washer and the kettle have decided to pack up on me so I've got something else to take my mind off it anyway.....................:rotfl:

Hope it all goes well for you. I had to have a back tooth out last month with just the normal freezing injections and I was petrified. In the event it was all over really quickly and was a lot easier than I expected. Hope you have the same good fortune!

:wizard: :wizard: Good Luck at the dentist Alison, I can sympathise with you as I'm a big baby when it comes to the dentist

That's what I like to hear :thumbsup2

Thanks

 I had a couple of wisdom teeth out recently and it was no way near as bad as I imagined! Hope all goes well (and quickly!)

Thanks everyone :scared:

Just waiting for my Dad to pick me up so I'll be reporting back later :flower3:

Sorry I missed you, Alison, hope it went well. I am terrified of the dentist too so can imagine how you must be feeling

hope it all goes well, I always have i.v. sedation too as I hate the dentist

Thanks everyone :grouphug:

And now I have to say sorry for being a complete 'Wuss'..........:rotfl:

All over and done with, the man's coming to mend the washing machine on Fri, bought a new kettle and dragged Mum and Dad to Matalan, shopping......;)
As I said to the anaesthetist I wasn't worried about the I/V sedation making me woozy as I, normally, drink far too much..........:rolleyes1

Once again, thank you all for your replies and reassurances :thumbsup2

Glad it's all over with now and you are okay :goodvibes

So pleased to hear that it all went well, Alison. Now relax! :)
