Any reason why I shouldn't??

I've been out of the loop (but not off the boards) for a few years now and hadn't planned on seing Disney again for at least another couple of years.
All of a sudden, I've got a chance at going again.
Any reason why I shouldn't go February 8-13?
I already checked for rehabs (It would appear that I may never see Journey of the Little Mermaid), and Easy WDW and Undercover Tourist has crowds no greater than 5, any thing else you can think of?

I can put it off but I'd like to go during value (i.e. CHEAP) season and during the winter.

That's a great week to go. The weather feels SO nice when you are coming from a cold climate. We went last year, but during our Presidents Week, which is the following week. It was crowded, but still awesome. The week before would be even better. The only risk for us was not getting out of here due to a snow storm but we did.

We always go then. Made the reservations yesterday, as a matter of fact. The down side is there will be some closures, hours are shorter, and you may run into BTG. The up side is, the BTG are no problem, in my many years experience, and of course the price is better, and the crowds are much less than other times. We usually stay in a value resort, and have a great time.

One reason you shouldn't go: you'll make me very jealous.

Otherwise, I'd jump on it. It's a great time of year. Low crowds, usually nice weather, and some major discounts. It could possibly be a little cool for swimming, if that's important to you, but I think that kind of weather is ideal for being in the parks.

It can be super cold that time of year-- or it can be in the 70's and beautiful. Pack accordingly.

February is a great time to go and you are bookmarking it perfectly....leaving on 13th means you will miss the crowds that will be there for Valentine/President's Day.

Thanks for the advice, all. I was pretty sure it would be okay, but wanted to double check in case I missed something.

So I just need to re-confirm at work tomorrow that there's still time off available and then book it!

I'm not too concerned about BTGs since the calendars are saying low crowds anyways. If I happen to hit one, I'll go somewhere else or just join right in!

And as far as I know, nono, there's no warrant out there.

At this point, it looks like Splash Mtn will even be open! (It's been closed for my last 2 trips.) Have a fantastic time!
