Any reason NOT to purchase Disney tickets through Ebates & one of their partners?

I hope this is OK to ask. :) I'm a long time lurker, but new to posting!

Next October my husband's entire family is headed to Disneyland and my in-laws are paying for everyone's trip. There are 30 of us. It's not going to be inexpensive. ;)

Because I love her, and I love trip planning I'm trying to find the best way to purchase tickets. I do most of my online shopping through Ebates and know that a few of their travel vendors have Disney tickets. Even at 3%, which is what Ebates currently gives you for purchasing through them, it's enough for a few pedicures if she gets cash back.

I know that purchasing from Ebay is typically not a good idea. Is Orbitz an OK way to go?

Is there another way that I'm missing? I typically just purchase our tickets from the Disney website, but with this volume of tickets I'm hoping to find at least a small break!

I looked at that, but we need 7 rooms not the 10 minimum. And we'll probably stay off site. We do one big trip somewhere every year, and we've found that now that everyone has little ones we prefer a house. Otherwise we're all confined to our rooms after the kids are asleep. With a house we can put the kids down and spend time together. There are a few really great vacation houses in Anaheim that will accommodate our herd.

I bought tickets through Ebates last March when they had the 20% off sale and had no issues picking them up in the park. You can also ask for a code from Orbitz and then add the tickets to your MDE.

But right now you probably get a better deal throught Under Cover Tourist. they usually have buy 3 days get one day free.

I bought mine over the summer through ebates from Orbitz when they had 6% back I think it was. No issues picking up the tickets and no issues getting the percentage back in my ebates account. They were buy 3 get a 1 day free park hoppers so that with the ebates was a bunch of money saved. I would keep an eye out for that kind of deal and watch ebates for a decent percentage on Orbitz. If your trip isn't until October you have a ton of time to buy for Disneyland.

I bought mine through the big Ebates/Orbitz 20% deal and had no issues. You get a voucher that you need to trade in at the ticket window.

Same here, no problem. I had to call Orbitz to get a code to link my tickets online to my magic bands. I never had to actually pick the tickets up, jugs used the MBs to enter the parks.

I'm gonna be watching for that deal again this February/march. They had two years in a row so far. Not sure if it was good god Disneyland tickets.

Yes, the deal was good for DL. That's where I bought my DL tickets.
