Any problems ordering AP's from DVC member site?

I just ordered 5 PAP's for my family, yeah! I ordered them from the "purchase now" link on the DVC member website that actualy took me to Disney's site. Anyway, has anyone had any problems doing this with the DVC discount? I think I remember a thread a while ago that had some members saying they had problems with their orders being "held" for their membership number? Does anyone remember this? Also, has anyone purchased AP or PAP's online this way and had any problems?

I did read at checkout that we would need our DVC membership card and photo ID to activate the vouchers, but nothing about needing your membership number to order the vouchers. Can anyone give me some info?

I ordered mine in January, and didn't think there was a problem, until I came across a thread here, that advised us they weren't being mailed out until we called them back and gave them our DVC membership #. So I called them back, gave them the # and they sent them out.

As far as needing your membership # to acitvate them, I don't know for sure because I haven't activated mine yet, but I don't see why we'd need it for that.

I spent over an hour on the phone yesterday. Started with the number from the mailing. Talked to some typically friendly CMs, but each sent me to another number. Ended up with MS. After a brief discussion, she said that she had all the information and would pass it to someone in "Ticket *". I should hear from them within two days. About 2 hours later, I received a call and gave them CC information. The CM stated that I should receive avoucher within two weeks.

Not a terrible experience, but longer than expected.

Athenna did you order them online with the link on the DVC member website? If I don't get them, I don't even know who to call. I used my debit card and there is a hold on my account for the tickets (because it's a Saturday), so it would appear that the transaction went fine. I did get a confirmation email too. I hope it all works out.

Joe, that does not sound like fun. Did you try to order them online or by phone?

Yes, I ordered them through the link on the member website. I believe that I called ticketing at (407)566-4985.

I ordered mine through the DVC website as well and it transfered me over the the ticket shoppingcart area on the disney website, it never asked me for my DVC number it just said I would need my DVC membership card and ID to use the voucher.

No problems at all with the purchases...

We ordered ours through the DVC website and got the vouchers with no problem. I was even able to use the Disney Visa Rewards with no problem. We got the vouchers in about a week. We never had to call MS or ticketing. This was about 2 weeks ago :)

We also used the number off the back off the voucher to get the DDE. :flower3:

Maybe they fixed whatever it was. :) We also plan on getting the DDE card. I can't wait to order it! We really like to eat out while on vacation and that card is going to be great for us. :flower:

i ordered 3 APs through the DVC link using the rewards cards for a portion of the fee on Feb 20th. Then we decided to take a friend of DD and i decided that since we are taking three disney vacations to order DH an AP and the friend a MYP using my DVC discount on march 3. i got the second order in a week. I called and had to give my DVC number for the first order which has now also gotten here.

I ordered 2 AP's and 2 PAP's through the DVC link with no prpblem what so ever. I received the vouches just last week.

I am unable to get into the DVC site and am wondering if you can enter your DVC membership # anywhere on the regular Disney site for this...?

Unfortunately, no, there isn't. :sad2:

I ordered two PAPs through the DVC site (that sent me to the regular Diseny site) and had no problems. As others reported, we got the vouchers rather quickly, and now they're just waiting to be used.

I'm deciding what to do about my parents. We presently live with my parents. When we travel in July to Disney with my parents, we will not live with them anymore. Can I order two APs for them? We have plenty of documentation showing that we all reside together (which we will still posses when we travel). So yes, they are in my household, but no, they are not DVC members themselves. They are staying on points with us. They will be at Disney for six days with us, and wish to park hop.

Are there other discounts available for tickets through DVC? Is there a % off MYW tickets?

Thanks for your help (I hope my question is clear and the background enough for an accurate answer).
Michael
