Junior Fishing Excursions
(Kids' Fishing Around the World)

The Junior Fishing Excursion is a one-hour long excursion available for guests ages 6-12.

Pickup is available from the following resort marinas and locations:
Contemporary Resort
Sat. & Sun. only; 10 - 11am
Polynesian Resort
Sat. & Sun. only; 10 - 11am
Grand Floridian Resort
Sat. & Sun. only; 10 - 11am
Wilderness Lodge & Fort Wilderness Campground
Sat. & Sun. only; 10 - 11am
Yacht & Beach Club Resorts
Mon. - Fri. only; pickup between 10 & 10:15am

Community Hall at BoardWalk Resort -- BoardWalk Villa side near the quiet pool
Mon. - Fri. only; pickup between 10am & 10:15am

Price: $28.16 (plus tax) per Guest

Riverside at Port Orleans
Fishing Hole at Ol' Man Island
The Riverside Resort also offers a catch-and-release fishing on Ol' Man Island at the Fishin' Hole. Hours are 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. and vary seasonally. The Fishing Hole is stocked with catfish, bass, and blue gill, and a catch is almost certain.

Cost -- Cane Pole & Worms - $4/hour OR Family Fishing - $12.50/hour (up to 6 people)

There is cane pole fishing at the Riverside resort and you can drop a line in any canal at FW.

I second the cane pole fishing at POR. We took my husbands neice and nephew last year and they really enjoyed it.

our nephew went fishing when we stayed at Riverside. He went for an hour I think. He had a great time. I don't think it was very expensive.

OK..it's not fishing but.... at Typhoon Lagoon you can swim with the fish. That's pretty neat!!

I was really surprised to see several people fishing in Feb at POP. Security came by and asked how the fishing was.

I dont think disney cares if you fish in any water way as long as you release what you catch.

OMG thanks so much, how cool is that. We are staying at All Star Music (for now) and I would have to try to figure out how to get there, but that is no problem, you guys are awesome. Knew there was something but didn't know where to look. Anybody know if it costs at POR?

It says excursion so and if I remember correctly they go out on a boat, right?

PO Riverside Resort also has a 'Fishing Hole' at its Ol' Man Island. It is an enclosed, stocked fishing hole available from 7am - 3pm (hours vary seasonally). They offer a cane pole and worms at $4 per hour, and a family rate of up to six guests for $12.50 per hour.
