Any PIN code offers for DLR hotels?

I was wondering if anyone had gotten any PIN code offers in the mail for the resort hotels...we've been lucky in the past and received them each time they've gone out but I'm wondering if our luck has run out in that regard since nothing has arrived.

I was hoping to get a nice rate at the DLH or PPH for May and I know that a good AP special rate is unlikely that close to summer.

Excuse my ignorance, whats a PIN code?

What I have gotten in the past is a big postcard from Disney with a code for steep discounts on the resort hotels. It can only be used by the person whose name is on the card. Others have gotten similar emails.

Great name...my oldest son is named Sal :)

How do you get this card? Do you have to be a member of a certain group?

Thanks!! So is my father. You have good choice in names :thumbsup2

Well if Ella and Jack have gotten their emails I wonder if I'm being overly optimistic to hope that the snail-mail ones just haven't been sent out yet...

There's apparently no rhyme or reason as to who gets them, at least I don't think any of us have figured it out yet.

The pin codes that were sent out last week we had already received about four weeks earlier and have already applied, so maybe they are adding on people until they get the number booked that they want??

Anyway, in response to the above question, it is hard to say how you qualify for the code - in our case, we have stayed on property a few times over the years and are members of the Disney board and Disney movie rewards, etc. If your name and email are out there, you might get a pin. This was the first one we ever had received.

We did NOT order the vacation DVD (I noted some people thought this garuanteed a pin).

Our pin, by the way, only came through email, not a postcard.

Good luck!:hippie:

I got a PIN email last week.

I am not a AP, nor DVC. I did not book my travel through Disney. I did order from the disney store and I did order the DVD.

I got the same PINs as everyone else, I think. I also got an e-mail (with what looks like a PIN) after we finished our Give-A-Day service projects. Guess they want me to come for more than just my one day.:)

I received a PIN code via email early last week and called and reserved using the PIN for mid-May. It was a 35% discount on rooms, which was way better than the 10% off rate I had originally booked my reservation for. I still wonder, however, if there will be better AP rates for May or 35% off is the best I can expect to get.

That would be great if AP rates came out for May since It doesn't look like any PIN codes are coming my way. :confused3
