So I see they say that it sleeps 6 I wanted to see how big or not it is. And where are these rooms located? Special floor? I can't find too much about those rooms on the sites I went to. Any info greatly appreciated.

Here's the floorplan if you haven't seen that yet:

There's also tons of info on the WL FAQ info thread here on the DIS, like this from that FAQ thread:

DELUXE-TWO QUEEN BEDS & ONE SOFA BED
The Deluxe rooms have now been upgraded to Club Level (Concierge) they sleeps 6. The Deluxe Guest Room has a sitting area separated from the bedroom by french doors, additional television, refrigerator with ice machine, coffeemaker, and wet bar. All Deluxe Guest Rooms feature woodland views.
Other guest suites are also available

I found the following information posted by a Wilderness Lodge expert (trust me this poster knows The Wilderness Lodge and the Villas) adding it to our information as it's very informative.

orignally posted by HumphreytheBearThere are actually 25 "Deluxe Rooms" (Junior Suites) They are 1000, 1003, 1166, 1169, 2000, 2003, 2123, 2166, 2169, 3000, 3003, 3123, 3166, 3169, 4000, 4003, 4123, 4166, 4169, 5000, 5003, 5123, 5166, 5169 and 6123.

All of these rooms do offer a connecting option that would be a room with 2 queen beds or a room with one king bed that is either woods or courtyard view. Rooms X000 are the rooms in the North wing that are at the very end of the hall on the left corner, Contemporary side they are Lake/tree view, X003 are the 2 doors down on the right corner with a pool/lake/tree view rooms X123 are halfway down the south wing in the left corner overlooking the pool/lake/geyser. Room X166 is the room at the far end of the south wing on the left corner with a lake view and rooms X169 are 2 doors down on the right corner also with a lake view. Rooms 2123, 3123, 1166, 1169, 2166, and 2169 have "doormer balconies, due to the design of the building these rooms have brick on the balcony railing so you can not see out unless you are standing up (if you sit you see brick), just FYI.

Here's a direct link to that WL thread for you to look through:

THANKS!! That is exactly what I was looking for!

If you happen to watch Samantha Brown's Great Hotels on the Travel Channel....on the WL episode..she actually tours one of these rooms. It is a couple of years old....however,,I just read you are leaning towards BW..never mind:)

Here are a few pics from our stay in a WL deluxe (jr suite) room. I forgot to take the pick before we set our stuff down, but you get the idea!

Thanks for the great pictures! We are going to book the Deluxe after our trip next year and plan to stay there in 2009. Looks like it is really comfortable.

Thanks for the photos!! I am thinking Boardwalk now but the pictures sure are swaying me back! Decisions decisions! Thanks again

No problem, glad I could help! We truely had a magical time and really don't want to stay anywhere else next time we go. My kids keep asking when we can go back to "the lodge" as my kids say!! It was just the icing on the cake that we got to go up to the Old Faithful Club, that was very nice touch! Have fun and no matter where you choose to stay I'm sure you'll have a magical time!:thumbsup2

1) Be aware that the Deluxe rooms are not on the Club Floor.
2) You have Club Floor "access".
3) You still have to do stairs or elevators to get to the 7th Floor Lounge.
4) Also, the Deluxe rooms have only one bathroom.

Are you sure on this one? Why would it say Deluxe club level?

The poster is correct. The rooms are deluxe rooms and just this past January they have been allowed Club access, meaning that they have access to the Old Faithful Club and Concierge. The rooms could be on the 1st-6th floor, but will have access to the 7th floor for the Old Faithful Club treats!

Ah.. Does that matter? I suppose for convenience it would. Do you know if that is the same at the Boardwalk?

I've never been to Boardwalk so I can't comment on that resort. Good luck deciding and hope you have a wonderful trip!
