either with booking through them or working for them?

a friend of a friend on facebook is working for them.
this is the only person that i know that works for a 3rd party online company booking disney vacations.
i've always wanted to work for an online company like this as i am disabled and its difficult to find a job that is close enough that i could walk if need be so at home online positions sound great to me.
i'm just wanting to know if anyone knows how legit/good/bad this company is.
i would ask the friend of a friend except she is trying to get my friend to drum up business for her so i feel like she would not be all that willing to tell me all about it.

Never heard of that company in particular, but I have worked for a similar one in the past. There are several of them out there. They basically hire on "agents" as independent contractors, most will require you to take Disney's training the College of Knowledge, and then you're on your own as far as marketing and generating leads. Most don't even require any experience. The travel agency that hires you is your sponsoring agent, so their name will be on everything. The agency I worked for did a 50/50 split with commission, and also deducted document mailing costs as well as insurance fees from my commission checks each month. Disney commission is on the low side to begin with, and I found it harder to get bookings than I anticipated, so needless to say I didn't make much. For tax purposes, you'd get a 1099 form so for anyone who makes a decent amount doing this, they should be mindful to put some away to pay the taxes as well.

Totally agree. 90% of this job is sales, so if you aren't a good salesperson you won't be successful. The fun planning part is only a fraction of the job. The agency wants you for the business you can bring to them, they don't give you leads. Depending on the host agency you may also be expected to be "on-call" for your clients in case they have issues during their trip.

I've used Jenni from Erie, PA numerous times with excellent experiences. We never had an issue she couldn't resolve. We use her everytime we need a travel agent. She is also very good with timely responses be it e ail, message+, or messinger.
