Any Pal Mickey reports out there?????

i bought him at the boardwalk resort thursday 4/24.
thought it would be cute for my 7 yer old who goes
to disney alot,you know something different,well
i took it to epcot on friday our last day lots of cast
members wanted to play with it,but all it said was
hi im mickey welcome to disney world are you ready to have
fun,over and over.while talking to one cm we thought that
it was so new the scencors were not working at epcot.i changed all
plans and took dd and mickey to mk walked around and nothing.
lines to the rides were so long but mickey should work at the rides we waited 30 minutes for snow white not what i wanted to be doing.the cm at the front of the ride was so happy to see pal mickey,i told her i didnt think he was ok,she sent me to city hall
i didnt think it would do any good seeing as it was our last day
and they are not sold in the parks yet.at city hall i explain the problem to a nice cm named david,he went right to work calling around he did locate one at the poly but it would take a while
to get it .we were all set to wait when david told my dd that
mickey would want her to be having fun not waiting around
with that said he gave her and i special passes to the front of
the line of any rides!!! i thanked him and off we went what a
nice thing for him to do.after a while we went to check on mickey
david had him waiting for us.I thanked him again for his above
the norm service and we were off to try mickey, the first time he wiggled and talked we started to laugh she enjoyed it and ended up with a magical day.Pal mickey is okay its trivia game would be hard for 5 and under i think it should have retailed around 30
but oh well.he is loud at home but hard to hear in the parks
my dd loved him at the parks but hasnt touched him at home.
if you buy one please take it for a test run early in your vacation
just incase.the cm also told me they will rent them in the parks for 8.00 a day with a credit card if you want to keep him they charge the card.sorry this is so long but thats about it.
