Just curious if anyone else has adopted from China. We just returned in August with our almost 2 year old. We just bought
into DVC earlier this year due to the fact that we knew we would want to spend alot of time with Mickey with our new little one.
We just had her first trip home last weekend with a stay a VWL.
She loved running around the lobby and was in awe of the grand christmas tree. She did not want to leave. Good thing we are
only 2 hours away from going home, and can go home often.

Adoption is a beautiful thing...God bless

Awww, that is so heartwarming to read! :sunny: Congratulations on your DVC purchase, and more importantly, the adoption of your daughter! :)

Congratulations Mom and Dad! I'm glad you had a wonderful time at WDW! Enjoy your beautiful daughter, and all the joys that come with parenthood!:sunny:

My sister and her husband returned from China with their 1 year old daughter Leanne 2 weeks ago. In October, they had their DVC papers signed and in an envelope ready to mail to Florida when they received word they would be going to China soon. The DVC papers were not mailed, but perhaps they will join later. BTW, DH and I were also at WL Dec. 19-23. I remember seeing a family coming out of Whispering Canyon with a toddler. They also had a tall young man with them(late teens?). Perhaps this was your family.

We have never adopted from China but did adopt from Korea 22 and 20 years ago! We became DVC members when BWV opened. We have been going to WDW on a very regular basis since my kids were babies in the double stroller! We have been truly blessed as a family.
Congratulations on the arrival of your daughter. Enjoy every precious childhood moment with her, you will be amazed how fast the years fly by and before you know it your baby is an adult!
Happy Holidays!

My SIL & BIL adopted from China a few years ago, my beautiful niece is 4 now. Last February they adopted from Korea & that beautiful baby is now 1. We belong to DVC but they aren't DVC members (yet but you never know) however they do LOVE Disney!
Congratulations!!!
We are staying at VWL in 2 months:D

Congratulations on your adoption. What a loving thing to do!

My older brother and older sister both adopted little girls from China. The are both adorable and incredibly smart (now ages 11 and 7). My baby sister is finalizing her paperwork to adopt a little boy from Russia (age 7) who came for a visit last summer.

I am amazed at how fist these kids learn and how well they are accepted by everyone. Times have changed for the better, eh?

Congratulations on your new addition to your family!

We adopted newborns domestically. Our oldest DD is now 5 and and a disney fanatic. Our youngest, DD2, was born when we were in WDW just before Christmas 2001. We had to cut our trip short to go back to Texas and take her home from the hospital. What a wonderful Christmas present. We are truly blessed with our 2 beautiful little girls.

We are looking forward to the many WDW trips with DVC and our little family. Our first is in Novemeber! :Pinkbounc

I'm glad that a post came up about adoption. I was going to post a thread about November being national adoption month but I did'nt. My wife and I have a beautiful girl that we adopted from Korea. She came home to us when she was just 3 months old. She is now 3 years old but acts like she is 16 yrs. We also have two older boys ages 13 and 16. We all just love Disney. Our first trip home to SSR will be in August. I just can't wait.:hyper:
