Aww...I wonder what happened to Stephie! I wondered why she didn't answer my PM. :sad2:

********************************************************
She just emailed me....wow. She's fine though. ;)

OMG Michelle!!!!! I'm am so so excited for you. After all you and your DH have been through...you finally have your BFP. :dance3: :cheer2: party: :jumping1: Keep us updated on your Beta!!! Sticky Baby Dust for you :wizard:

That sucks about Steph!!! I wonder what happened. I tried to get on her myspace but she has it set to private. I'll miss her :sad1:

Nicole-If it were me...I would leave it alone. Let us know how your Beta goes :wizard:

Wow...so many of us are "tipped/tilted" kinda strange. Well I got my +opk last night and we were able to BD so cross your fingers. Good news comes in three's right???

Tiggerlover -- see my earlier post (in purple) about Steph. She has been banned from the Dis and that is why she did not respond to your PM - she can't get them -- see my earlier post and you will find her email.

Thanks
Nicole

Yes I understand that Nicole. ;) Before I knew she was banned, I wondered why she didn't answer. I just emailed her and she was quick to reply and I know what happened. I'm gonna miss her here and the boo-bay report! :rotfl:

I am going to miss Steph too!

Rebecca -- a Postive OPK -- that is such great news! Yeah - and you BD on the right night them - which is promising and hopeful. I have got my fingers crossed for you during the dreaded 2ww.

You are right - good things come in threes - me, Michelle and we have an opening for another...hope it is you!

I think you are right that I should just leave the weird donor thing alone - the agency probably told her a fake story to protect our privacy. It is weird to me though.

Good luck Rebecca! Thinking of you.

Michelle -- I am hoping we both get Beta's in the 200s!! They implanted 2 in you also right -- maybe we will both have twins. When I talked to my nurse yesterday - I told her we got a digital test positive on Sunday (9dp3dt) and she said she was surprised to get a digital postive that early -- I then told her if that was surprising that she should now I got my first faint line at 6dp3dt - she was truly shocked by that -- I asked her if that could mean twins since there was registerable HCG so early and she said she wanted to reserve comment until after the Beta -- wow - could be twins!

I am not being very productive today guys -- too much donor intrigue and baby excitement -- I really should try to do some work though since I am swamped and have a trial coming up soon....

Ok

Bye for now

-Nicole

Guys I am really torn here and need all the advise I can get but quickly. I am trying to get an HSG done. My dr gave me the referral but she advises against it since I had one a year ago and I was all clear. A year ago afterwards I got pg and then m/c 6 weeks later. My concern isn't that it will increase my chances of getting pg but that something happened that since then to cause blockages. I don't know what to do. I hear the risks the radiation and the possible infection but before that I went 2 years between pgs and then get this stupid test done and boom it happens again and I just think that if I would have had it done sooner it would have happened sooner. Help guys. I am in a horrible state right now.

Kim

Is the main risk radiation? I think the chance of infection is low? I also think it is a little psychologically because you associate the HSG with geting preganant since that worked last time for you. I am not a doctor but other than the HSG being painful - I did not think it was very risky. I think you should do it - it mentally might help you relax if you know everything is okay.

-Nicole

Congrats Nicole and Michelle! I'm so glad you both got BFPs!!!!!!!

Tuckerkeys - I'm fairly sure weight played a role in why I couldn't get pregnant quickly, but I have PCOS, so they weight tends to go along with that. I really think the Glucophage was the thing that actually helped. 8 rounds of Clomid didn't work, and the month I stopped the Clomid and just stayed on the Glucophage was when I finally got a BFP.

Carla - first it takes a bit to get pregnant, and then you're miserable for most of the pregnancy. Seems only fair that labor should be a breeze :)

Kim - I think your doctor might be advising against it since it's only been a year from your last one. Unless you have bad endometriosis or had an ectopic, it's unlikely you would develop a blockage in a year. At least that's what my doc told me when I asked if I would ever have to do it again (please NO!!!)

:wizard: to everyone!

Kim-I think the risk from the radiation is very minimal. They don't have the machine on that long...the x-ray I had done on my hip was longer exposure than the HSG. As for infection...if everything is sterile (i watched the Dr. take the stuff out of the kit with her gloved hands (that never touched anything but the "tools")) the the risk is low. You have had them done before so you know.

My Dr. said I didn't have to have one because I didn't have any of the signs of a problem but for my own piece of mind (and hopefully not having to take clomid again) I wanted to have it done. I do feel better now...I was much more relaxed last night (BD) so get it done if that is what you want.

:grouphug:

Kim - Did you have a D&C with your m/c? I had an ectopic a PG with a D&C which caused scarring in my uterus. The HSG discovered the scar tissue, and I had a hysteroscopy to elminiate the problem.

When I had my HSG, they inkected the dye and looked - my tubes were all clear. Then they injected some sort of oil, which the RE said often helped get things moving. I wonder if they can inject the oil without the radiation.

My feeling is that your doctor really doesn't see any indication that this test is necessary.

Denae

PS - I also received an email response from Steph. :sad1: I am going to miss her.

I'm having my baby tomorrow!!! Can't chat, lots to do, but she's LARGE (approx 9.5 lbs), and my doc recommended a c-section, so tomorrow morning, I'll be a mommy!

I hope you are all doing well! Lots of love!

Becky

Becky, good luck tomorrow! And congratulations! I hope you can have someone post pictures.

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and hoping your surgery goes well.

Good luck, mommy! :goodvibes

When we were going to have round 3 of IVF, it was over 1 year from my first HSG. My doctor was sending me for something else..similar, but a bit more. They require it yearly, to make sure nothing has changed. At this point, I can't remember what it was...I'm sure someone here knows what I'm talking about better than I do at this very sleepy moment.:upsidedow

Wow Congratulations Becky and good luck!

I got my period this morning. :(

Wow, Becky! Congratulations! Vaylie will share my b-day...how exciting! :) My dd was 9.7 lbs and I ended up with a c-section too. I hope you have an easy recovery! And I can't wait to (hopefully!) see pictures!

I am so thrilled to see that Nicole and Michelle both got BFP! That is just incredible and wonderful news! Congrats to you both!

I'm sorry about AF, Ash. :(

Huge congrats to Michelle and Nicole.....what a wonderful, wonderful blessing.:goodvibes

Good things are happening around here!! :cool1:

Nicole and Michelle, I can't think of any other word but CONGRATS! That doesn't really cover it, but I think you know how we all feel for your good news! :cloud9:

Ash- Sorry about your AF.. perhaps Nicole and Michelle have gotten the BFP good vibe fairies dusted up and back to work, they have been dorment too long! :sunny:

Becky - Wow, good luck today... we are all thinking about you and can't wait to see the pictures :)

I am gonna miss Steph... I haven't known her very long, but really enjoyed her posts! I say we protest, I say we have a sit in! This sounds like Boo-Bay Gate 2007! :rotfl2:

So this is only my second month charting, and I am trying to learn as much as I can about it, but there seems to be a pretty steep learning curve! :confused3 Last month FF said I O'd on CD17, but I wasn't able to chart the entire month, I started when my BBT arrived in the mail. I am currently on CD 16. This month, I have been pretty good about getting my temp every morning (well, except that three day weekend, but that was early in the cycle!) and my chart is alll over the place. I also have been trying OPK's for the first time, and I started on Saturday. That was the darkest line I got, but it wasn't a positive. Since then they have gotten fainter (is that even a word?!) and fainter. Soo, it looks like tomorrow won't be the magic day for me. Would any of you more experienced girls be so kind to take a peek at my chart and lemme know what you think? :) There have been some days when I think my thermometer is broken because the temps just don't make sense, but realistically the thermometer is newer then my body is, so out of the two... I'd guess it's my body that is broken! :rotfl:

Opps.. Dis says I can only post links after my 10th post, this is my 8th.. Sooo....

:flower3:
Mindy

So to satify the Dis powers that be, I am posting again, so I can reach my minimum number of posts so I can link to my FF page...

Woo Hoo Michelle!! I'm so excited and happy for you!! :goodvibes

Good luck, Becky! Seems like such a short time ago you announced you were pregnant!

So sorry to here about Steph. I will definitely miss her updates! LOL! Hopefully she gets her BFP soon.

So I'm so CD19. No idea about O as I stopped temping due to being out of town and sick for a few days. Just a waiting game now. I'm bummed because my annual office party is this weekend so I won't be able to have glass of wine! I sure hope no one asks me whats up! Maybe I'll grab one glass and just sip it all night.
