I'm having my baby tomorrow!!! Can't chat, lots to do, but she's LARGE (approx 9.5 lbs), and my doc recommended a c-section, so tomorrow morning, I'll be a mommy!

OMG!! I am shaking from excitement. I still can't even beleive it. I have waited so long and have gone through so much to actually say the phrase BFP about myself. My DH and I are on cloud nine.

Beta is Wed.

And then another beta every two days for at least a week and then an ultrasound I think in 6 weeks and then -- perhaps my own ticker!!

OMG!!

Let's hope and pray for a sticky little baby!!

Becky - Good luck today! It's good to see that you're having a nice big healthy baby with all of the problems you had during your pregnancy. It just goes to show how resilient the little babes are, able to thrive even when you are having trouble.

Congrats Nicole & Michelle!!! I haven't been posting here for a while, but I was one of the original members with Becky and I still enjoy reading this thread for all of the inspiration. I also had endo, and have recently given birth (also by c-section) to a healthy baby boy!

I hope everyone else receives their BFPs soon! (Baby dust all around!)

Well....just got the phone call with my 1st Beta results...

Nurse said this was a good and strong beta. Can't tell anything about multiples from 1st Beta -- 2nd test is next Wed and number needs to be around 2400. Ultrasound the week of March 19 and we will be able to see the heartbeat by then!!

Mindy-I don't chart but I do use OPK's. If the lines are getting fainter you may have already O'd. Keep testing for a couple more days just to make sure. If you did miss it take the day of your darkest line and start testing about 3 or 4 days before then for next cycle.

Well I got another +opk last night. I should expect my pre-AF spotting around March 9th...lets hope it stays away!!!!!

as for me- tested again this am and this afternoon- i used a first response this afternoon and a dark pink line immediately came up. so still feeling great about this! beta tomorrow! 3 positive tests can't be wrong!

I feel like she isn't taking a proactive approach to all this. I thought she was but I am so frustraited right now. How am I suppose to take 4 months off when I can't even stop thinking about this until I get things straight with my body."

I have been emailing with Steph and she asked me to post another update for you guys...here it is...

Just a quick update that AF has STILL not arrived. I have beyond
painful boo-bays now and cramps that feel like AF cramps, but no
AF...yet. This is probably TMI, but I sort...uhh..."checked" up there
to see if there was any blood, and nothing. All CM. And thicker than
usual.

My temp is still up around 98.7 degrees, so I'm not sure what's up. A
few people on The Nest Babies on the Brain board think that it's
possible I was testing a little too early...so I'm going to test again
tomorrow morning (if AF hasn't arrived yet).

What do you girls think?

Hi Minnesota -- nice to see you again!! Congrats on your immenient delivery!! I am so happy for you. Thanks for your nice wishes for me as well. My beta today was done at 12dp3dt (or 15 days past ovulation). I think it is a good beta - I am happy!

Pollito -- congrats -- so cute -- you must be on cloud 9 - I remember you getting your BFP - how time flies.

Becky -- same with you - I remember your BFP like it was yesterday - I can't believe that as of today - you are a mommy! Give Vaylie a big kiss for us!

Ash -- that stinks about AF - I am sorry!!

Disneydreamer -- those positive OPKs are good news -keep baby dancing - I hope this is your month!

Kim -- sorry for the conflicting doctor info -- the best advice is that unless you are 100% trusting in this doctor - switch docs!! I always had a nagging feeling with my obgyn that she was rushed and that there was something wrong with me and she was not taking me seriously enough and not being proactive and aggressive enough and sure enough - I was right and I really feel that nothing she did or did not do caused my POF condition but she cost me 6 -10 months of delay and I could have been a whole year younger than I am now when I got pregnant. Switch doctors!!!

Carla - there is a c-section theme -- do you think you are going to need one too -- any talk of that yet?

Nicole and Michelle- I'm so excited for you guys! Congratulations!

Kim - I would probably follow Rebecca's suggestion and see a couple of different doctors and get their opinions. Maybe your doctor suggested taking a break in hopes that you would stop stressing about it and see if nature would take it's place?

So as for me, AF came to an end today and I think I'm just going to "see what happens" for the next 4 months. I really need to lose about 40 lbs and I'm going to start working on that. We are planning on buying a new house in November and I'd rather not be too far along while I'm in the process of all that. We are planning on taking our first vacation without my son in June and I think that would be a good time to start trying again.

Steph if you are lurking (or Nicole if you could relay)-I think the ladies on your other board are right. You may have been testing to ealry. Sometimes it can take a week after your missed period to register a positive on a HPT. Our bodies are all different and yours might not process the HCG to the point where it is concentrated enough in your urine. Hang in there and a great big . Keep us updated if you can!!!

Nicole and Michelle! Hooray! I have chills just thinking about you two, and the wonderful, amazing beautiful thing that is happening to you. You are going to be mommies!

Nicole - I think that sounds like a great beta. I am surprised that you have to wait a week for another one, but I guess they have no reason to be concerned about miscarriage, so they don't need to do them every 48 hours.

Steph - Very strange, indeed. I think there are several other people who didn't get BFP's until later, maybe it is too early for it to show up. Maybe test again this weekend, and if you don't get a BFP or AF, ask your doctor friend again.

Kim- I think it is definitely time to switch doctors. 4 years is a long time, there is no reason to wait any longer as far as I am concerned. Maybe a fresh look / approach is just what you need. When I was doing the Clomid with u/s monitoing, I saw a PA to discuss strategy and results. She was out of town for the holidays and I saw my RE for an appointment. I asked him about PCOS, and he reviewed my chart and realized I had not been tested for it. He ordered the test, and it was in fact my problem. I think having someone else review my case really helped find something they missed. Otherwise I would have probably had to continue through the set process when there is unexplained infertility, I would have had spent countless amounts of money, undergone painful procedures, all for nothing.

Minnesota - do you have a name picked out for the new little guy?

thanks guys, your support, prayers and well wishes mean a lot to me! like Nicole said, it hasn't quite sunk in yet. after trying for so long, all the drugs and IUIs and appts, it just doesn't seem real yet! i am sure after the first u/s, it will! I don't think Dh thinks it is real either yet!

Steph- definitely keep testing.....something is definitely up! i miss ya!

Kim- it is time to seek a new doc. TTC or infertility is already difficult, the last thing you need is a doc that won't support you or work with you. find someone else and i promise you will be happier, you have to be your own advocate here and make sure you have a doc you love that will listen and be pro-active. i hope it works out!

well i better get back to a little work. beta at 8am tomorrow! i'll post results when i get them!
