Hello wonderful ladies:
I had my day 3 transfer today and it went great. As you may recall, I posted a week ago completely panic stricken because my lining was only 4 - but the clinic was able to get it up to 8 so things were good to go. I then posted again because only 7 eggs were retreived from our donor...But - of those 7 -- 6 eggs were mature, they icsied all 6 and all 6 fertilized. We were told we had hearty and healthy eggs.
That was borne out by the fact that on day 3 - all of our 6 embies had survived!!
At the clinic where we are treating - their grading system is the number of cells (generally between 6 and 8 - the higher the better), then
A-D re fragmentation (A being the best) and then good or poor quality.
Our 6 embies were as follows:
8AGood
8AGood
7BGood
7BGood
6AGood
6BGood
All excellent embies!!!
They transfered the 2 8AGoods and they froze the remaining 4 emboyos --Yeah!! -- so we have 2 high quality embroyos in me now and 4 great ones on ice.
I am so excited!!! I can't believe I am in the 2ww - my first time ever!!
Thanks to all of you for your support and prayers.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it!
So - when can I take a home pregnancy test? My beta is not until February 28th.
