Congratulations Tasha - that's great!!!

I'm still trying to get back in the habit of temping every morning. I have the thermometer next to the baby monitor, so when he starts playing, I'll see it. My husband is loving the first round of Clomid in a while - I think he's found every excuse not to be in the house (it makes me UGLY!!!!)

I was looking for this site a few months ago. DH and I decided to try this past July. So after my cycle in September the 'dancing' began. It didn't happen in August. I was really disappointed because I realized that if I didn’t get pregnant the next month I’d be pregnant during the summer. I’m a teacher and would love to have a June baby (so I can be home all summer with the baby). I remembered an old friend of mine who told me about Geritol (yeah, the Senior Multivitamin). So on the first day of my cycle in September I took the Geritol every day (both the liquid and pill). I'm glad to tell you guys that I'm 7 weeks pregnant. With my DD now 7 (and pictured below) it took us almost 8 months to conceive. My girlfriend told me to take Geritol. I did. Within 30 days I was pregnant. It has a reputation of "having a baby in every bottle". The first time, hey, I thought it was just by chance. This time, I don't know. It might be something to this geritol.

Geritol may not be a cure all for infertility, but what would it hurt (they're $6) and will give you energy like a toddler. They are way cheaper than fertility treatments and you might get a baby in the deal. BTW, add me to the June Babies, I'm due June 6th.

Congrats on your pregnancy, dmj99! Interesting about the Geritol. I have never heard about that and I've personally never tried it but, hey, whatever works, right?

I found this cartoon a while ago and thought you guys might enjoy it!

Tasha, DJM, and Smilie~~~~CONGRATS! Come join us on the mommies to be thread and I will add you all to the mommies list! :thumbsup2 Just make sure you post your due dates over there for me too. :goodvibes

It's been a while for me. I've been reading but not much time to say anything.

Just wanted to say congratulations to everyone on this group who has just gotten their BFP!!! That is awesome!

Also welcome to the new people TTC, I wish you all the best

Jennifer, hope all goes well with you!

Too funny about the Geritol. I know I heard that once and of course on Geritol's site they say their product has nothing to do with fertility and does not increase, but hey have fun with it, right?

Congrats to all the new BFP's. Y'all are very lucky.

Jennifer... I've been thinking about you! Hope everything goes well!! :goodvibes

I went to see the dietician on Monday. She seemed to be pretty excited that I had previously been eating so poorly and not exercising much. LOL! She said the fact that I lost 10 pounds just with diet and exercise after only 4 weeks is great. Of course, my birthday was yesterday so I haven't been following the diet too well the past few days. ;)

She told me that she wants me to lose 10 more pounds before getting pregnant. Ugh. At least that's incentive. I asked her about getting meds to speed along the TTC process, but she said that wasn't a good idea. She said it's better to get the insulin issue under control first, then TTC shouldn't take as long, my miscarriage odds will be lower, and I have a better chance of a healthy pregnancy (I went on bedrest at 32 weeks due to PIH last time and DS arrived 4 weeks early). I know she's right, but it's so hard to hear while more pregnant women pop up around me. :sad2: I have to keep track of what I eat each day and return to her in 4 weeks.

I go back to my GP next Friday. I thinking she'll probably make me do another insulin test to see if the diet and exercise is working or not. Fun stuff. I'm excited about that appt though because I plan on calling my gyn afterwards to figure out what else we can do. It's been 6 months since the chemical pregnancy in April so hopefully she'll be willing to try some add'l testing.

I did OPK's for the first time this cycle and thought they were great! DH and I BD'd on all the right days and I took my temp when I started getting darker OPK lines to double check O and it was correct. I"m not getting my hopes up though due to the insulin issues. I'm on CD 22 today, I think. It's CD22 or CD23.

Good luck to everyone still TTC!! This is cycle 16 for me. Seems like I've been doing this forever. I can't believe I still have tears left in me!

10 eggs today! We'll see tomorrow how many were mature, how many fertilized, etc. The Dr said they looked good, though! Now, onto a different waiting game!

I'm glad things are looking up, and congratulations on the weight loss! I hope your month is soon! :goodvibes

Congrats TJM and Tasha! :goodvibes It gives me hope seeing people on here getting pregnant and having babies.

I just found out my cousin is pregnant with #3. She got pregnant around the same time I did when I miscarried. :(

Congrats on your weight loss, skuttle. If getting prego isn't incentive to lose weight, I don't know what is! lol I'd do anything if it meant increasing my chances! :teeth:

I got prego after 18 mos., then miscarried. I'm now on cycle #2 since that happened. I'm desperate, just like most of you! A question about bd: Last month we bd every day the week of ovulation. No luck. Do all of you try every day, or every other day? I've heard both. I think I might try every other day this month. Thoughts? :confused3

Sorry I have not been posting but I am reading almost every day!

Allison - Happy Birthday and congratulations on the weight loss! I wish I had your willpower as I would love to lose 25 pounds.

Tasha, DJM and Smilie - Congratulations on the BFP!

Tink2020 - Good luck with everything!

We just got back from a great trip to WDW! I met my mom down there and DS5 was finally tall enough for all the rides - 48 inches - so we were able to ride anything we wanted.

Baby Dust to everyone!

Allison - so great on 10 lbs. Keep up the good work. That is two sacks of flour! Your doctor is right, you know, as much as you hate to hear it. It will be better for you, your family, and the baby to be more healthy when you get pregnant. And even better if you are able to get the insulin under control! Good luck!

Jennifer - wow 10 eggs! That's great. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

momsully - glad you had a nice trip. I want to badly to go, but to be honest, the DIS has scared me in the trip planning department, and I am not sure our trip would live up to the high expectations I have set myself up to have. Anyone want to plan my trip for me?

fanof - I have heard every other day is the perfect timing for BD.

Denae

Allison, congrats on the weight loss! You are doing great!!!!!!!

Jennifer, 10 eggs really does sound good. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Glad you enjoyed your trip momsully :)

Kelly, my doc suggested every other day. I do hope you are able to get pregnant quickly. I think it took 3 months after my miscarriage (though one month was around the holidays and we were too busy to... well... you know ;))

Hi everyone.. Havne't been on the boards lately, cause I don't like reading about Disney when I have no trip planned...
BUt I did get some 'good' results from my RE's office.
My 7 day past ovulation progesterone test results were 19.3!!!! I HAVE ALOT OF PROGESTERONE AT THE CORRECT TIME I'M SUPPOSED TO!!! THat means I don't have a lutuel phase defect and my 2 miscarriages were probably just bad luck, like the MD said. I'm still on Dostinex for my elevated prolactin and the results are about 1.0.
My appt with the RE is on Wednesday, so I'll see when he says we can start trying again.
Hopefully I'll get preg real quick like I did the last 2 times! I'm going to cross my fingers and think good thoughts. Whatever happens, happens....

Good luck, Jennifer! I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Allison! Wow! Ten pounds is awesome. You're my inspiration! I am down five. Boy, is it hard work.

Elaine--glad to "see" you again. I missed you. Hope all is going well for you!

DznyLvr-great Progesterone numbers. Good news!

Ok, so do you want to hear my funny story? Except that my head is going to explode as a result :p

These are the messages we came home to:

"You have _2_ new messages. First new message:

"Jennifer, this is ___ from Dr A's office. Good news, we found.... end of message "

"Next new message This is a continuation of the first message, sorry. So please arrive to the Christ hospital on End of message

"End of messages."

WHAT?!?! I so have left a message for them, but seriously....?

I'm obviously beaming that it seems we have at least 1 embryo. 1 or 10, who knows. It could look like crap or be perfect, I have no idea.

I'll keep you posted......

OMG, Jennifer!! I would be going crazy! I agree, it does sound like good news, though! Keep us posted!!

OMG Jennifer I would be dying! Of course you have to wait until tomorrow now! Sounds like good news is awaiting you, let us know!

I am just finishing up af- I'm hoping she's left town for the next 9 months! lol Needless to say, it's going to be busy here the next 2 weeks. :thumbsup2

How is everyone????? :yay: I wish we could all get together one night and chat in person! Imagine all the hormones in the air??? :scared1:

Hi all! Back from the ET. Out of 10 eggs, 9 were mature and 5 fertilized. We transferred 2 absolutely beautiful embryos today, and the rest are freezable. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers! :goodvibes
