I feel so old you all look so young
We seriously look young. DH got carded buying a paintball gun! (To which I stood by and laughed my tail off)

A staff member at one of the schools I work at thought I was my supervisor's DAUGHTER one day.

I'm the type of young looking where people come up and say something to my face because they are so startled by it.

Trust me, it's no fun. And we really are old enough to drive, vote, buy alcohol (if we so chose, anyway), etc. I've been through 7 years of college/grad school...Not as young as I look, honest!

I love seeing all these pictures!!!

I'll post mine from recent in case someone missed it

I'm told we look young and still pass for college kids all the time... by college kids themselves :rotlf: (1.5 years ago a parent thought I looked 16  ) We get carded all the time ;) I am 30 and my DH is 29. That was from November I believe

Then again here is me at 17 (about 10-15 pounds heavier) and I guess I look much the same :rotfl:

I don't have any of our pics scanned in from the wedding to share. Since it was 2000 not many were done digitally then.

Gurgi, never saw that before. I imagine it would help some knowing where to start if they couldnt' afford the tests via the docs (insurance depending)

Kristine  I am so sorry AF showed :(

You guys ARE all young!! :)

Here's some in honor of us older folks...

morning all!!

Rebecca :yay: have a blast on your vacation

Love all the photos still coming in. I might look young but I'm not feeling it anymore. Derek gets told all the time that he doesn't look his age. He's 41.

My appointment this morning went very well!! I have 8 measurable follicles. The largest is 19x13. They'll basically ignore that one and wait for the others to grow more before retrieving next week :)

Kristy- congrats on the awesome follicles! good luck

Kristine- big hugs out to you.

love love love all the wedding pics- it is great to put a name with a face and everyone looks so gorgeous!

here are a few of me and DH- we were married may 1, 2001 at Mandalay Bay in Vegas (after 8 years of dating! lol).

Michelle you look so cute in your pregnancy top :)

My E2 this morning was 384 :) :)

So I had the IUI today. Now I just wait two weeks to go back in for a pregnancy test (or if AF comes early, I guess) to see if it worked. I have no opinion either way on the likelihood of it working. Who knows!

After the 'great sperm wash' Jeff had 40 million strong healthy little guys to put back in. Apparently that is fairly average? Jeff was dismayed to learn that he was only average and has vowed to do better next time if there has to be one. *laugh* You'd think that with 40 MILLION little guys there that ONE could find the egg! :)

Good luck!! I'll be sending baby dust your way :)

LOL all guys think they should be above average.

Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I finally made an appt to see a doc! We've been trying for 18 mos. now, we had dh checked right before we started trying. Can anyone tell me how the appts go in the beginning? I'm not even sure if I should see my gyn, or a fertility specialist, reproductive endocrinologist, etc. My primary physician is supposedly taking care of an appt. for me. And what should I expect? Do they start out doing bloodwork, simple tests, etc?

Also- I'm 4 days late right now, and am usually very regular. I've taken 2 hpt and they were both negative! Has anyone else had this happen?

Thanks!

40 million after wash is a great number!!! Sending you good vibes :goodvibes:goodvibes

Waiting here to go have my consult appointment in an hour...todays AF day 2 US showed 2 old follicles at 15 and 2 at 8...no freaking clue what it all means...but I have a bad feeling that nothing will happen this cycle.

Kristine  I have no idea what that means either. Hang in there

Shmoo, good luck with everything! 40 mil sounds so high and it is always amusing to me when I hear what is average and low... I hope at least one finds its way to the egg!

Kellyf, long time no see! There is cybrktn, who is going through that right now with the late AF and no positive pregnancy. Have you ever been pregnant before? After a week I'd try to see the doc for a blood test to see what is going on. Good luck!

Such pretty pictures you all have! I don't have any wedding pictures (I am married though), so I'll share the following:

The REAL Gypsy Sue

Piper

Beth (that's me!) and Chris (DH)

Great pictures! Here are a few of ours:

This is from one of our first dates...a high school dance! This was in 1994. I was a sophomore and DH a senior. Had to scan...no digital cameras back then!

Then there was our wedding, June 2, 2000. Again, scanned. Not much digital camera stuff going on then.

And then our trip to WDW in January of this year.

Shmoo--I hope the IUI did the trick and you get some of Rebecca's luck!

Rebecca--Have fun camping (hope it's not too hot for you like it is here).

Lisa--Hope it is just a cyst.

Allison--I know how it feels to get down about this stuff. It does seem chronically unfair at times, but it WILL get better.

Kristy--I don't know anything about follicles (yet), but I hope it's going well for you.

Gurgi--I hope all that hard work ;) pays off!

Cyber-- Sorry about the BFN. We should start a crazy cycles club!

I haven't had any other symptoms, unless excessive clumsiness counts, so I am losing hope. The spotting continues, so it's probably just AF gearing up. Last cycle was 50 days, so why shouldn't this one be 25 days? Half the time, twice the fun

Wow, I went away for 10 days and there is so much to catch up on. To everyone who got AF :grouphug: . AF started while we were in Hilton Head but we really took the month off so I was OK with it. I am starting the Metformin today (day 10). The doctor is gradually increasing my dose to hopefully alleviate some of the side effects.

Rebecca - :cool1: On the BFP! Lots of sticky baby dust for you and have a great camping trip!

I love all the pictures of everyone. I don't think I have a digital copy of our wedding picture (we were married in 1999), but here is one of us and the boys from DS First Communion in April. DS5 is still wearing his DIS lime green bracelet from our cruise in 2006!

family-1.jpg

Skuttle....oh, how I love those matching shirts. HAHAHAHA! :)

That was actually what we called the "Sadie Hawkins" dance. The girl has to ask the boy, pay for matching shirts, and pay for dinner. So we weren't the only ones with matching shirts...everyone did that for that dance. LOL!
