That was actually what we called the "Sadie Hawkins" dance. The girl has to ask the boy, pay for matching shirts, and pay for dinner. So we weren't the only ones with matching shirts...everyone did that for that dance. LOL!

OMG! I would die if I had to do that. I think it is cute, but I hate matching. In our engagement picture we have, my DH put on a navy polo shirt and I had on a navy knit shirt. Since we didn't live together and didn't bother to coordinate better, we matched. It drove me crazy Again, I don't mind when others do it (and honestly I didn't even notice with you) but it is something I can't do for some reason (migth be all the matching I had to do with my siblings ) Loved seeing the "through the years" with you though!

Met with the doc and got the new plan...no lupron this time as I feel I was over-suppressed. Doubling the gonal F....and a couple of other new drugs in the mix. Back on BCP for 2 weeks...

So I had my RE appt tonight...
Long story short, I should have been on the Prolactin lowering medicine while I got pregnant. My other Endocrinologist (not an RE) told me to stop taking it before I get pregnant.
He said that is WRONG!
He also said that high prolactin causes low progesterone. He said that my lining might be too thin becuase of it. He thinks I should be an easy case. He gave me a Rx of some medicine, I can't remember the name I have to pick it up tomorrow. he said to start that immediately.
He also sent me home with a BBT calander... I already do this so that won't be hard. Also he's sending me for 7 blood tests. Also, I need to get OPK's and as soon as I O, i have to count 7 days, and then get a progesterone test.
So, now I know I really need to switch Gyno's!!! My gyno had no idea about prolactin causing problems and told me to 'keep trying'.. this RE said DON'T TRY!!! He wants to straighten me out 1st!
Also I may have to go for the test that shoots dye up there.. but not yet...

So glad that the RE was able to determine the issue. I know with IVF we have to get a progesterone shot every day for the first two weeks and if we get pregnant the shots continue for another 8 to 10 weeks.

If I were you I would write a letter to the gyno office telling them exactly what they did wrong and tell them to brush up on their ttc details **of course I'm just mean like that**

oh..I have to share something funny. I keep telling friends/family that know about the ivf that the doctors will use icsi to put the spermies inside the eggs. Well DH took offense to me calling them spermies and said they are to be called swimmers b/c spermies sounded too girly.

Kellyf, long time no see! There is cybrktn, who is going through that right now with the late AF and no positive pregnancy. Have you ever been pregnant before? After a week I'd try to see the doc for a blood test to see what is going on. Good luck!

Hi! I get on here only every now and then. How are things going for you? I do have a 6 year old, and I had a m/c prior to conceiving him. I am going to see a doc real soon about fertility problems, and will def mention the missed period to him. I am always regular. I missed a month one time 3 years ago, but that was the month I started nursing school and lots of stress!

DznyLvr, I am so glad the RE has a plan for you. And I definitely would tell your old OB why you are not going to them anymore. That is just wrong IMO. If you don't know something as a doc, you should research and discuss with fellow collegues in the business

Kelly, loved the pics too! I'm doing okay here. Finally getting energy back after the first trimester wiped me clean of it. I'll have an ultrasound on Monday to see if all is goin well and if we can find out the sex of the baby I'm still super nervous about it all and as the appt gets closer it gets worse. I still worry about seeing a dead baby again

Gurgi, I think I've seen the wedding pics of Allison before so I knew. But it's funny I pictured here as a light brown or blonde myself. Though someone on the DIS once pictured me as a tall blonde too... I laughed because I am sooooo short

Hello Ladies!!! Sorry I vanished for a while things have been hectic and honestly I needed a TTC break. Rebecca!!!! Yeah!!!! I was sooo happy to see a BFP!!! Good luck..sticky baby dust 2 u!

My personal update: saw RE PCOS negative, luteal phase defect negative, anemia negative..negative...negative. I know u think i would be happy that nothing is wrong....which, of course, i am but then why am I NOT pregnant!!! This cycle we are starting clomid and doing 2 IUIs on day #14 and #15. I surge on day #15 and we have been doing ICI on #15 and #16. RE wants us to try day #14 and #15. So, that is my story. Day #1 should start for me on Sunday.

Baby Dust to all! I promise to try to be around more. I need the encouragement right now. I'll try to post a pic in the next few days.

I knew you were about my height but I honestly pictured you to have more of a olive complexion for some reason. I also expected longer hair and more of a round face. just my guess.

Never thought I'd ever be happy about this, but...I finally got AF today ! 20 days past my originally scheduled cycle, but it's there. At least I know that I'm not hitting menopause this early, LOL, and it also means that DH and I can try again !!

Can't help much because it was 8 1/2 years ago, but the side effects I remember were gastrointestinal in nature, and I lost 13 lbs in 3 weeks. Oh, and incidentally, I got a BFP in 3 weeks, too.
