Allison - I am so sorry. I went through this last May ... it is very hard. Even though it's so early doesn't make it any easier than if you were further along.
There is still a chance things could be ok ... I would contact the doctor, just so that they know even.

How are things today?

Allison

I am so sorry for your loss...I know how devastating and heartbreaking this is for you. It is easy to look for blame in this time of anger and to be mad at yourself for "testing to early" but you can't beat yourself up -- you did what anyone TTC would do - test early and often.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hugs,
Nicole

Allison, you're not rambling, you're coping. That is what we are here for. You post every 5 minutes if it helps you. We're all giving you a big collective hug while you cry. I'm crying with you right now. :grouphug:

I'm not sure why you're confused. Just because you get a positive doesn't mean you'll carry the baby to term. From what I understand, this happens a lot this early. Most women, not TTC, just never know because they aren't testing SO early. My mistake.

Sorry...didn't mean to upset you.

Denise, I'm sorry if it sounded like I was upset. I mean, I am upset, but not by anything that you said. I'm a little on edge...sorry!

Well, I have an appt at 9:30am. So, we'll find out for sure. I'm sure I'm no longer pregnant, but we'll see.

So so so sorry Allison. :grouphug: That really sucks. :guilty: I am sure I can't say anything that will make you feel better right now, so I won't try. But know that we are here to listen whenever you need us. :flower3:

Allison  I am sorry for everything. I would imagine it would be hard to tell if it was a super early miscarriage or a "chemical pregnancy" (where the hormones start, but the baby never really implants). It's still a loss though, because I know for sure we started making the plans the first time we found out we were pregnant. It is heartbreaking. So give yourself time to grieve. Mostly, do NOT say it was your fault for testing too early. It wasn't... I just hope this means that you will be pregnant with a baby due early in the year next year

Denise, not sure what to say about the vitamin. My daily vitamin which I take only has 2500IU. Does any local store carry a woman's 1 a day that is kosher? I would take that if I could.
I did find this quote online though
Vitamins can contain various problematic ingredients and a full discussion of this is beyond the scope of this article. A person whose health problem has been attributed by a doctor to vitamin deficiencies, as well as pregnant and nursing women who have been advised to take vitamins, follow the same Kashrus guidelines for rifuah as a choleh sh'ain bo sakanah. (A sick person who is not in danger.). Therefore, they may take non-Kosher vitamins She'lo ki'derech achila " if an equally effective Kosher vitamin is not readily available. One who is in good health and takes vitamins as supplements or for prevention purposes should preferably take vitamins only with a reliable hechsher. Currently the Star-K certifies various Shaklee vitamins. Freeda Vitamins are certified by the OU. Where such products are unavailable, one should ask his Rav or Kashrus agency about vitamin components of non-certified brands to determine whether the product can be taken.
Sounds like because you are pregnant you can be exempt from the rule if your readily available kosher aren't good enough. Just a thought.

Thank you for letting me know it wasn't me. :thumbsup2 Be upset...scream (type in all caps), cry (type in small caps)....we're here for ya Allison! :goodvibes

Thank you for that. There are two organic stores that I can check out. Organic vitamins typically are "okay" without a symbol simply because I won't have to worry about the use of gels or animal products. I'm going today before work or in between my shifts to check them out. Mine arrive on Monday and I got 250 of them. I hate to buy another container and not use them. Well, I suppose I can buy another multi-vitamin to take until my prenatals arrive. That would work! :goodvibes Thanks again Elaine! How are YOU feeling?

Good luck with it Denise. I would probably just find a 1 a day you could take for a while. Just make sure it has the min of 400mcg of Folic Acid. That is the biggie my doc always pushes.

As for how I am feeling. I have been dealing with sinus stuff so not so hot in that regard. My stomach is only so so now too. I have absolutely zero appetite and the food I have been eating has been upsetting my stomach. Otherwise my bbs just keep getting a bit more sore and I feel the ligament pulls now and then. Since I am not feeling well otherwise I can't tell you if I am tired from that or the other ;)
I still sometimes worry that this one will end in a miscarriage as well. Though as soon as I feel that, I try to envision holding our baby in my arms. I really wish I hadn't miscarried so late last time... kind of makes everythind hard.

Elaine - :grouphug: Try not to let what happened to you before cloud your enjoyment of this pregnancy. I did when I was pregnant with Hannah. I was so worried that something was going to go wrong, that I really didn't enjoy it. Then when I had troubles in the pregnancy, it made me such a nervous Nellie that I let it cloud the joy of being a new mom.

Think of it as your bosy had all the badness out of its system, now.

Denae

Allison: I'm so sorry...sending a great big  your way. Let us know about your appt.

Well...cycle 13 is a BUST! AF came visiting this morning in full force. No spotting which is a good thing and I made it to CD29/15dpo. The longest cycle I've had. So the Clomid must be doing something right. What sucks (besides not being pregnant) is the CRAMPS!!! I never have cramps. I get cramp-y but never like this...OUCH!!! So I ordered my refill of Clomid and called the Dr. to see if I could go in on CD20 instead of CD21 for the progesterone test because I will be on my way to WDW on CD21. She said that was fine.

What I forgot to ask was if I should take it easy while in WDW. I had a plan set up incase I got pregnant ( ) before we left and couldn't ride the "big" rides so should I stick to that "just in case" or would it be to early in my cycle to hurt my chances of a BFP???? Any thoughts????

Thanks Denae... every single twinge that I can't place, if I see more yellow in my discharge (which about 80-90% of the time I always have some yellow to it), if I think about how sore my bbs aren't... of course I worry. Then there was the day I checked my temp because I was having chills and it was down to normal... that freaked me out  So I can't seem to win with anything I do. If this does go bad (we talked long time ago about this) we're done trying... and tht is kind of a sad thought too. So... I am trying to focus on good only. I will try to remember my body did it once and got out all the bad... now I will expect the good.

For those who got pregnant quickly and had it easy and never worried, I really hate you all ;) I just talked with a friend of mine yesterday about how we tried to hard when we were younger to avoid everything. We just assumed it would happen easily. Now we see how hard it really can be :rotfl:

Rebecca, I am sorry that AF showed her ugly head. I normally have really bad cramps as well so my heart goes out to you. As for WDW, I wouldn't worry about taking it easy. You'll kick yourself if you aren't pregnant after all, and if you are "slightly pregnant" it won't do any real harm. At least my doc said it was up to me on what I would ride at WDW when I was 10 weeks along. I *might* skip RnR though for the Gs and *might* go only on the light version of Mission Space... but those are HUGE mights, and I would be on everything else.

A Big AMEN Sister!!!!! I was a virgin on my wedding night because I was not going to screw up my life with an unplanned pregnancy.....If I only new then what I know now.........

OK...so what do you take for these horrid things? Asprine, Tylenol, Advil....any help would be appreciated.

As for WDW...I think I will take your advice and just go and have a great time. I don't do Mission Space so no worries on that one  But I do love me some RnR so I will take it one day at a time and see what my heart tells me.

I hope you have a problem free 9 months Elaine...You so DESERVE it

Rebecca: Get a hot water bottle. Lay down and out it on your lower abdomen. It helps a lot. I used to get horrible cramps when I was younger. I couldn't even get up during that time and that always seemed to help. I take Advil, but only b/c it's what I take for sore muscles and it's around. Hope you feel better soon. I'm so glad your cycle was longer! Progress is always good.

Michelle: You are not a wimp. Don't feel bad at all about taking some time. If you were sick or in an accident, no one would begrudge you time off. I am so gald that you and your DH are such a strong people that you can do what is best for your family. Y'all are going to be great parents! Plus, based on the description of what you do (it sounds like what my sister does), companies we'll be begging to get such a great sales person that is so qualified and dedicated (Vegas w/ m/s-you deserve a medal:)) if you feel like your opportunities are limited at your current company. Keep us updated, and I hope you feel better soon!

Jennifer

I just realized so much else was said on this thread and I forgot to mention it. Michelle you are NOT a whimp and I doubt anyone would see it that way. Hopefully in a few weeks you will be feeling better and can go back to work with a bang. The first months of pregnancy are tough no matter what

Rebecca, you are such a sweetie. I hope the next 7-8 months at this point do go well. I'm just having some down days, though trying to perk myself up by talking to the baby.
As for cramps, I do best with Advil (ibuprofen). Tylenol doesn't touch them and Aleve gives me a headache. Aleve works best over all IMO, but I cannot stand the stomach upset or the headache... I will take if they get horrible. I also take a baby asprin a day to help me out. Keeps my lining in better shape so the periods now aren't near as bad as they were before I started taking. It won't hurt a baby either if you wind up taking it for a week or two before you find out. Some women take baby asprins through their whole pregnancy too for heart reasons. Heating pads never did much for me, but I know they help some.

Well, not a good afternoon here. I went to the bathroom at work and when I wiped, there was red blood. :( :( That was an hour or so ago. I just went again and when I wipe, there's a little. Not as much as at work, but I can see it a bit on the toilet paper. Not looking good for me. I guess I'll see what happens tomorrow. But I know red blood is bad. THis, on top of the 4 BFN I got (even though I also had 5 BFP)...I don't think this baby was meant to be this time around. I'm so upset. I would have rathered not even know...just think that my period was late. It's CD 34 today for me. Next time, I don't think I'm testing until 1-2 weeks late. It's just too hard to have the excitement and then this. It's just too hard.

I am so so so so sorry.

Jennifer & Elaine: OH you girls are angels!!!!! I found one of those heat wraps you put in the microwave (I used to use it for my lower back...tailbone injury) what a difference...RELIEF!!!! I think I will also take some Advil.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

I understand that trying not to get pregnant, then when you want to it doesn't happen. Seems like to more I try to get Pregnant, the more other people get pregnant and stick their bellies in my face. (Sorry had to rat a minute a co-worker o her second in 18 months made me mad, stupid ho)

I also had really severe cramps when I was taking Clomid (never had cramps before this). I take the Target brand of Midol 2 caplets at one time, sometime I only have to take them once a day and cramps are gone in no time, never had to take them more than 3 times in one day though. I think them have pain reliever and a water pill (something for bloating). These seem to work better than anything.

Skuttle: Don't be so hard on yourself, Lay on the bathroom floor and cry  as hard and long as you want to (been there done that many times). It can really help. :grouphug: to you
