Wow! Congratulations! That is very exciting! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

Emily-sorry if too personal, but were your bbs sore on and off? Mine are. Did you have any af-like cramping?
Tell us what you did! (if you don't mind!) Was it everyday, every other?

Thanks everyone!!! :goodvibes Assuming I really am preggo - we're trying to decide when to make the announcement to our families. I think we want to wait until Christmas for my in-laws so that we can tell them in a fun way, but we may tell my parents on Thanksgiving. I am currently working in the same building as my Mom 5 days a week, so she's going to be suspicious when I start going to the Dr. all the time or if I get morning sickness all the time!! LOL

Mickeybar - I don't have any problems sharing! ;) I have a longer cycle & didn't O until my CD24 - on 10/31 last month. We BD'd the day before O, the day before that & 2 days before that - so we hit 3 of the 4 days leading up to my O date. I actually was thinking I would O earlier, so we had been BD'd almost every other day - but with our crazy schedules, it didn't always happen as often.

Right around 2 DPO, I had the sorest BBs!!! They even felt swollen to me, but now they're not really bothering me anymore. I've had a lot of cramping, bloating & minor backaches over the last week that had me convinced that AF would be here any day now. So, please don't give up hope if you feel like AF is on her way...you could still end up with a BFP! :goodvibes I've also had a couple of evenings this week where fatigue just completely took over my body - those evenings I passed out on the couch around 8 & was completely knocked out for a couple of hours. Since I usually stay up until 11:30, I felt this was a strong symptom for me. ;) I've also had some mood swings that I think must be related at this point. LOL

Just let me know if you have any other questions - I'm happy to share if it helps someone else get a BFP!! :goodvibes

Congratulations on the BFP!!!!

Well I don't know if this means anything or not, but I had to pee about 5 times during the night last night, and that was only between 12:30am-7am. But, who knows. I have a bunch of dollar tree HPT's downstairs, and I'm bored so maybe I'll go take one, even though I'm only 10dpo... But hey, I have a stockpile of them and I'd only be wasting a dollar.

Happy Saturday future mommies!

Congrats Emily on the BFP! :tink:Prayers & pixie dust that all goes well!

For those of you testing and waiting... don't get discouraged - it's not over until Aunt Flo sings! (Of course... I'm sure we'd ALL prefer she waits 9 months for her encore! :rotfl: )

Tonight I take my last dose of follistim, tomorrow Ovadril, and then Tuesday in for the IUI. Since this is our first "try" since the m/c - I'm trying to stay level headed. It's so hard! My b-day is next week, and with Thanksgiving the week after - I've got mixed feelings of the 2ww durring this time... no wine - and I have to get creative as to why so the family doesn't get suspicious. I was hoping I'd know before Thanksgiving - but - oh well!

Congrats on the BFP. I was ready to give up when my friend from Florida called and said she saw a stork and whenever she sees a stork someone gets pregnant; so that was my stork

Emily, that is awesome! Congrats on the BFP! I highly suggest using a different brand to test... I am guessing that is a First Response and they even gave me a very faint line when I was decidedly pregnant. All three did ;) So I don't think I will *ever* use them again.

I agree to what you said to the others with the symptoms. I swore AF was coming too, but boy was I wrong. Even now and then I get kind of cramps and pulls from the uterus growing.

Lisa, I am so sorry about the hag showing up. I will hope that after the holidays you will become pregnant quickly!

Not much going on here... just been watching some football today. We are big Ohio State fans (went there) and it is amazing to know we will go into our last game as #1 and go against the #2 team in the nation.

Thanks so much for all the warm wishes! :goodvibes I went to the grocery store this evening & picked up a box of Answer HPT's, so I'll use one of those in the morning when I get up. Hubby still doesn't believe it's real, so we're a little cautious at this point.

This was our first month TTC - we decided we wanted to at WDW in late September & I just stopped taking my BCP right after the trip ended. I was sure that it would take a long time to get my cycle situated & conceive, but here we are in November possibly preggo!! :teeth:

We're very hopeful that everything works out & our little bean sticks around this month. Our EDD of July 24, 2007 works out really well at my job since summer is our slowest time of the year.

Hope everyone else is having a great weekend!! :teeth: :cloud9:

Congratulations, Emily! When I was pregnant with Kylie the sore b00bs and severe exhaustion were the sure signs that made me suspect I was pregnant too. I usually can stay up pretty much all night and I would crash as soon as I got home from work around 5:30 in the evening and sleep for a couple hours. I just knew at that point.

Helenabear~ I agree about the First Response tests. I hate those and will never use those again. I never got a clear enough reading with it. I swear by the EPT digital tests. Those gave me results within a few seconds and there is nothing like seeing the word 'pregnant' flashing on that little stick! :) They are a little more pricey though.

Good luck to everyone else who is trying or waiting. I hope to maybe start trying again around this time next year. I am truthfully revved to start now but the timing isn't right. Next year may not be either but I am thinking it will be so hopefully it will. That will put a nice 3 year spacing between my dd and a sibling if all goes well and we have no setbacks. I am thinking of going off the pill around the end of January though (when my prescription runs out) and using other bc methods until we are ready to try again. I am sick of the pill because it totally screws up my libido and it would be nice not to think of dtd as a chore when we aren't even trying to get pregnant, lol!

Good morning, ladies. Today is CD31 for me and STILL no AF! I plan on buying a couple of HPT today and TRYING my best to wait to test until the morning. We'll see how that goes. lol! I get so nervous every time I have to go to the bathroom. And then I sit there with a big grin on my face when there's still no AF. Wish me luck!

Also wondering how Allison (Vettechick) is doing!

Hey y'all! How is everyone doing? I'm crossing my fingers for everyone in the 2WW and congrats to the new BFPs! Yeah Emily!

I'm doing really well! Work has kept me busy, which is a good thing, but I get the week of Thanksgiving off so I'm really looking forward to that. Then 2 weeks at Christmas - you really can't beat a teacer's schedule.

Me and "Bob" (I'm so sure he's a boy we call him Bob ;) ) are doing great! I've been feeling "him" kick for a couple weeks now and the other night both Kory and I felt some kicks from the outside. I thought it was way early for that, but it happened again today in the area I know he was in. Very cool feeling - it's like a little split-second punch to the abdomen!

We go the day before Thanksgiving to find out the sex and we are so excited - I don't think I can wait!

How are my other four & five monthers (Minnesota!, DMickey to name a few)? Have you felt any flutters? How is Carla doing - has she posted lately? And Becky?

Good luck to you all, pregnancy is the freakiest (and most amazing) thing I've been through (and I'm not even halfway done!)

Well, I went to the bathroom one more time before going to the store, and there she was.

I plan on temping this month and setting my alarm to do it! Hopefully that will get us somewhere. I'm not as upset as last month. Of all months, this was the month I least wanted to get a BFP because it would have put my due date right around DS's birthday and I didn't really want that. Oh well....back to BD'ing.

Thanks again girls - I'm getting pretty excited!! :teeth: I woke up this am & took another test - that makes 3 positives for the last 3 mornings....I think hubby finally believes it's positive now!! LOL :rotfl: I think he was unsure the last 2 days because the lines weren't very dark - today's was the darkest by far. :goodvibes

I went out this evening & got a baby name book to start browsing thru & a pregnancy book to read up on. I'm looking forward to telling my parents on Turkey Day next week. It'll be nice to not have to hide it around them after that. Still trying to think of a fun way to tell them...

Skuttle - so sorry to hear that AF showed!!! :guilty: Good luck next month BD'g!! Looks like we'll be at WDW shortly after you in January. I was on the fence about our trip being preggo, but I think it'll be great to get one last trip with just the 2 of us - we'll just have to relax more & go commando less.

It looks like quite a few gals from this board will be at WDW in January - we'll be there 1/17 - 1/27 - anyone else?? :)

Congrats Emily!!! How exciting for you :goodvibes

Chin up for all those who have been visited by the wicked witch. :grouphug:

Well I start OPK testing tomorrow. We will be trying this month eventhough DH's testing will be in the middle of the cycle. :wizard:

Congratulations!!! The BFP is so exciting, isn't it?!

We'll also be at WDW in January -- at Beach Club from the 24th to the 26th and then on the Cruise starting the 27th! I'm so excited -- it will be our last trip "just the two of us" as well (even though technically, it's the three of us!)

Hoping for BFPs for everyone else soon! Loads of baby dust to everyone!! :wizard:

Hooray for the BFP! :cheer2: It's always encouraging when another person from this thread gets a BFP. It encourages me to keep hoping...

Since my cycle is so irregular, I think I'm going to try using OPK's this month. I know they aren't always accurate, but I have a 9 day window of when I might O, and with DH's health we can't BD every other day for nearly 2 weeks to try and hit the right time. So I'm going to give it a shot with the OPK's this month and see how that goes. I figure it's worth trying this way for a couple months. Anyone had any success with the OPK's?

Yeah Emily!!!! What fantastic news!

Lisa - I am very sorry it didn't work out for you this month. (((hugs))). I think a break over the holidays is a good idea. Regroup, so to speak.

Allison - how cool that you have felt the baby from the outside! I have a few "extra layers", so I am still feeling him kick only on the inside! Things are going well here. Ended up in the ER last week with some pains. Looks like I have cyst "or something" on my rt ovary. Baby was in the way. Follow up on the 27th. However, we did find out this little one is a BOY!! Now to find a name! I am so excited for my son to have a little brother!!

Skuttle - I am so sorry AF showed! I hope you get a wonderful Holiday Blessing!

I hope all is well! I wish Carla would check in! I hope she is just busy and that everything is going well..

Have a great Monday all!

good morning ladies! Skuttle, so sorry about AF. i was hoping this was your month! keep your chin up and just get ready to jump back in for next month. :guilty: :grouphug:

Emily- congrats to you!! :cheer2:

Allison- good to hear from you- so exciting to feel the kicking i am sure.

Flying Belle- good luck on the IUI- i just did the same treatment as you basically- follistim and ovidrel trigger for the IUI.

Well today is CD22. 10 DPO (and IUI). I am too nervous to test to yet. I figured the ovidrel trigger might still be in my system and don't want to have false hope/false positive or be upset with a 'too early/inaccurate' BFN. they say to wait 10 DPO at least with the ovidrel. so i figure I'll wait and maybe test wed am (CD 24/12DPO). the RE told me to test this Friday. I have 3 EPT digital tests to use. my friend gave me her extras since she got a BFP last month. i am leaving wed am for AZ for a seminar and will be in a hotel alone to test! i am nervous, hopeful and dreading it all at the same time. :confused3

it would be such a blessing to be able to share the good news with family at Thanksgiving, they've all been so supportive of my fertility treatments.

baby dust to all!

Michelle, 33
4 clomid only cycles (march-june)
2 IUI w/ clomid (aug/sept)
lap (october)
IUI with follistim inj (nov)

I've taken two HPT's and got two BFN's. And I think I'm starting to get pms crampy too. I'm more upset about it this month than I was last month. A lot more, actually. So many bad things have happened recently with my uncle dying and finding out that my aunt's cancer is in stage 4 and has spread throughout her body, I just desperately wanted something good to happen.
