Welcome to the thread, noel!
danicaw - Hope you recover soon. I also think you should go. Even if you don't get weighed and measured, ask them if there is an alternative exercise you can do instead of using the oblique machine. I asked at my Curves which one of the machines was the "famous" obligue machine everyone here was talking about. The answer was that they had one, but got rid of it. Even though it wasn't so stated, I got the impression that they either had a lot of complaints (or possibly injuries from not using it correctly??).
This morning, I came in and noticed that they had rearranged the order of the machines. I was disappointed because they put my two least favorites together. UGH! Oh well, for the first time I didn't have any trouble remembering how many times I'd been around, LOL!
Our Curves is actually getting crowded - there are a few times during the day when 3 or 4 people are waiting for a station to begin their workouts. At least that's what I was told. (No problem at 6 AM so far.

) BUT, they're expanding sometime this month and adding two more machines. One will be new to us and is supposed to be good for your "butt"

and the other one is the ab/back machine. We already have one of those - I like it because it really does seem to help my stomach muscles. Hopefully the expansion will all be done when I get back from vacation.
Keep up the good work, everyone. I usually reread this whole thread at least twice a week to keep me going. I might have to read it lots of times in a row when I get back from vacation to get me motivated to return.
