Welcome Hojolo!! Glad you joined us! I only joined a few months ago when we booked our cruise, and I have really been welcomed by our group with open arms. The DIS friends on this upcoming cruise are GREAT!!

Lisa and Hojolo - my oldest DD is also 12. She would love to to get to know your daughters before the cruise. She and I were talking and she said maybe they could e-mail each other. Please PM me, and I'll give you her e-mail address so they can "chat" or at least introduce themselves.

Valerie - Glad you're back, sounds like you had a great time. Hope Grandma is feeling much better even though she missed the trip.

Helen - I went shopping today, and I don't know if you have a Dillards Department store in the UK, but ALL their formal and semi-formal dresses were $29-$39 US Dollars today! I'm sure it's because wedding and prom seasons are over. How did you like Monsters Inc?

Tif - Glad you got Tine's documents. I was a little concerned for you, as I remembered MIL's docs coming to my home last time. Thinking of Abby, too, it's so hard being a teen girl!!

Marci - Hope you were able to bring Jessie home today.

Flo - Just a thanks to you for keeping up with everyone and all the good wishes every day! You are awesome!

Tommorow we are headed to the movie to see Superman Returns. Saving Cars and POTC2 for the cruise! Can't wait!

Well todays the day I have to take DH shopping, wish me luck.

( Of course my back has been twinging and im getting nervous - which is making me worse I know)

I just want to get to this cruise and have a good time ( For those who dont know last Aug when I had arrived on CC my back went into total spasm and I triggered my syatic nerve, which meant I couldn't move and pain was terrible!
I had to be taken in a car back to the ship and I was flat out for the 5 days I had left in the UsA.

I just dont want it to happen again-
still sorry about that

Oh well off to have some breakfast - You know I have a really bad craving for some mickey waffles / pancakes youknow the one i mean

Jen, here is some hope they come. I would call Monday if you doh't get them to. Maybe if you do not get them before you leave they could have your luggage tage at the hotel in WDW for you when you arrive. ALso the rest of your paper work to.

Tife, it is going to be hot in IL today. It is going to be in the high 90's today through Tuesday.

Wish me luck we are goingto Milwaukee, WI today for a street festival. My DS is going to park cars for baseball (to make money for the team). He has to bre there all day in this heat. We are taking a case of water for the boys.
It is going to be hot. Oh well they are young.

Hello Friends!!! Flo, we will definitely keep you and all the boys of the team in our prayers. Tom will be in Chicago for a wedding today and he mentioned the temp. OUCH!

Guess what???? Two weeks from right now, we will all be getting ready to gather for our meet and greet!!!! WOOHOO!

I am going to have to get serious about packing now. I just don't want everything wrinkled before we go. Plus, I am really trying to lose a bit of weight, so I am hoping to take a couple of things but don't know if I can yet.
In the last five weeks I have lost about 7 pounds. Still uncomfortable in my own skin, but at least I am headed in the right direction.

Flo, I am bringing microwave popcorn from a local company in Peoria. Not too exciting, but couldn't fit a Caterpillar tractor in my carry on for everyone!!!

Hi Everyone!
We just got back from the Festival. It was allot of fun. I tried Crawdad made New Orleans Style (hot) it was great. We also had Gyros. But I have never had it this way. Now that was real good. They put lettuce, the gyro meat then they put a mixture of onions peppers and squash. With the sauce on top of that.
The kids are still parking cars. We left my son with a car. They will probably be there till around 10:00. They are drinking plenty of liquid. They have coolers filled with water.
Tif, thanks ! I feel so sorry for the boys but they are young they can handle it. Poor Tom he has to get all dressed up in this weather for a wedding.
That sounds sooooo good that two weeks from today we will be on the DCL.

Marci, I know what you mean about the het. The tep is going to be in the high 90's here with a heat index of 105. UHG is right. If it is that hot I want to be on vacation.

My DS was so tired when he got home Iaround midnight) he hanged and went right to bed. That he tires you out, expeialy when you arein it from 8:00am to 10:00pm. Thank god he put plent of sun tan lotion on.

Valerie, Oh My! Look at it this way, at least you remembered and there is still two weeks. I would think that if you booked through a travel agent she would call if she mailed them and they came back? Do you still have the same phone #?

Valerie -- it will all work out. That was an easy mistake to make. Don't worry -- they will take care of you. Here's lots of that it is taken care of quickly and efficiently so you can wipe that worry off of your list!

Thank you for the thoughts! We're off to see POTC 2. I thought we would see it before just in case my two DS's don't make it to the late showing. I want them to appreciate seeing the Flying Dutchman at CC. And it might keep my mind off things! We are supposed to be at the Angels game right now but it's way too hot so off to the movies we go!

Helen - I hope your back is feeling better. I slipped a disc in '01 and it gives me trouble every once in a while.

Valerie - I'll bet you were really stressed when you realized what may have happened to your docs. I recently read a thread that said you really didn't need the documents, or you could print them out at port... Here's the quote...

We have never received our docs earlier than 10 days out on three cruises. If they don't come, they can print them out at the terminal. You can also do the online check in yourself & just print that out. That is all you will need.
