Just wanted to ask about the post cards. I saw some mentions of it from Helen and others - what are the plans? Do I need to bring post cards from my state? How many?

I have a suggestion. Maybe on the first post you could also list what people are bringing.....that way our new cruisemates will know and us "old timers" will remember

Abby's friend Tine's finally got to our home in Illinois. Tom found them out on our front porch. He figured out that when we switched to FL res. rates...we didn't have to declare Tine as being a part of the FL household. Whew!

Marci, how is Jessie today??? Is she enjoying pampered or restless and wanting to get back outside???

Flo, Abby is still struggling. One friend called the other day to see if she wanted to go to our local fair. Abbs said no and before explaining why, the friend hung up. Oh the tears! Thanks for thinking of her!

OH!!! Iain made it on Millionaire today! Whew! It is his favorite, and he was the only one of us not to have gotten on. With them closing it next month, we were worried. He got his hat and he was happy as a clam!

Hi, Flo. Thanks so much for continuing to change your post to put more info. You are such a good sport about it!

Jessie hasn't been able to come home yet. I called this morning and she hadn't eaten, and they have to do that after surgery. They told me to call back this afternoon. I did, and they said she has been eating and hopefully will get to come home tomorrow. Thanks, everyone, for your good thoughts and prayers. It does mean a lot to me!

[Korea Ears]

It is about time for me to leave Korea. It is Friday morning and I head to my parents house with my wife tomorrow morning. We have some long flights. Because I used frequent flyer miles for my wife's ticket we are going from Busan (Korea) to Toyko to LA to Minn. to Hartford, CT. 24 hours from the first airport to the last. Looking forward to events with my family before the cruise.

Well it has to be done - tomorrow im taking Dave shopping to get him some clothes for the crusie!! He hates shopping sorry after 4 weeks dis-ne -less im going to go mad with his wallet

Today im starting the search for a dress to wear on formal night - I really dont want to spend a lot of money on a dresss I'll only wear once - The one i've seen is £160 which is just under $300 I dont think I can justify it. Hmm

Good Morning everyone!

It took pages to catch up with everyone! I see new folks have joined which is exciting. Emily (12) keeps asking if there will be GIRLS her age - NOT BOYS MOM - I hope she'll remember that a few years from now. She's really at a up and down with friends stage. I can relate to Abby and her feelings as I swear Emily is going through the same things.

Marci - I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. I hope she gets better. We love our animals so much its hard when they are sick or hurt.

We are in the final stages of home repair from our lightning strike. Silly me - what was I thinking - but I took it as an opportunity to clean and paint the kids rooms - geesh... it is a lot of work. Much more work than I remembered. I'm down to the trim now. DH keeps asking me why I don't leave it until after the cruise. I keep explaining - I don't want to come home to the mess and how are we going to find everything to pack!

I got our documents a few days ago. So exciting! We are staying a few days ahead of the cruise at WDW - but we only have one set of luggage tags - do we put them on when we go to the airport and thats all we need for the rest of the trip? Anyone know who has done the "pre cruise" days?

Helen- it was me who asked about the Aero bars - don't know how well they will travel - but I love you for even attempting it!

I see there is another njmom (to 2 boys not 3 girls) on our cruise. Is she on the cruise meets? I saw that someone invited her - just wondering where she's from and noticing the similarities in our user names in case you (she's) reading this.

Logging off now to finish the trim - I swear I'm going to finish today even if it makes me crazy!

Hello Everyone!!
I'm back from the Harry Potter Fan Club Trip to England/Scotland. It was wonderful!! We went to the 93/4 platform. We went on the Hogwarts Express and went over the viaduct (?) where the flying car goes and sat in the same cars as in the movie. We did a whole bunch of other things. Since this is the Disney board I'll save the details! But in London, Johnny Depp was there and I could have gone to see him walk the red carpet. Ugh!

Helen - We were there for the dreaded day and we said a prayer for the ones lost and watched on TV. It was hard to explain to my DS.

All my thoughts to everyone for their kids, cats, and houses. This is a great place to get support.
Lisa - We are going to WDW 5 days before. Staying at the Sports resort and then the AKL. I have two boys, 9 and 7. Sorry no girls.

Welcome to everyone who has joined. I'm glad to be back.

I am in California and have not received my docs yet. Ugh! I'm staying home all day partly because I have so much unpacking and sleeping to do. So I hope brown comes today!!
