Sorry haven't been on that much lately.

My cousins wedding is today and we've been busy all week with family dinners, rehersal, more dinners, etc.

Just wanted to drop in real quick and say "HI" to our new cruisemates. Hopefully by early next week things will quiet down and I can spend more quality time on this board :teeth:

Aloha,
Jen

;) Jen, how do the kids look? I bet they are handsome? :thumbsup2 Enjoy the day! :woohoo:

hi all

Ive managed to stay up and have been in the cruise chat!

They were talking about the green bands

Check out this photo
http://www.wdwinfo.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=17401&size=big&sort=1&cat=523&page=1

Hope it works

They got them from a company called reminderband . com

:surfweb:

These are the same bands that I was talking about a few pages back and said that I would order. Only a few people have said they would like to have them.

I think there are three sizes, and I need to get more info. I'll try to get all the info this week.

Thanks, Marci - just let us know. I'd love to order for my DFamily!

Also, Wltdsnyfan, What day is our DIS meet in Promenade at 3:00.
:goodvibes

Hi nextcruz! It is the day we get on the boat. :boat: So that we know each other when see each other on the Magic. :thumbsup2

 :cheer2: We are getting closer and closer to the date!! :woohoo: :cool1:

**Info on the Silicone bands**

The bands come in three sizes, and they have to be ordered in quantities of 20. Here are the sizes:

Reminderbands® come in three sizes: large, medium, and child. The large bands are 8 3/8" around and will fit most adults and large-framed teenagers. The medium bands are 7 3/8" around and generally fits ages six and up, including most teenagers and small-framed women. The child bands are 5 7/8" around and typically fit children 4-6 years old. Wristbands are not intended for children younger than four years old.

I don't think we would be able to get enough people to order the child size, but it sounds like the medium bands will fit most kids.

I'm going to be taking requests for bands -- please PM me and tell me how many of the medium and large you would like.

Also, what do we want to put on them? Should we do like the other group, put a ::MickeyMo , Disney Magic, boat, 7/29/06 and a ::MickeyMo ? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Hi All,

Here's a pic of our kids from the wedding yesterday. They looked so adorable that I'm really thinking about really dressing them up for formal night on the cruise also :groom: We'll see though....DH keeps saying he wil be on vacation and vacation isn't for dressing up and the less luggage the better.

Once I catch up with paperwork I'll be back :badpc:

Aloha,
Jen

Hi all :wave2:

Marci - Thank you organising the bands , I only posted the picture the other day to show people what they could look like. ;)

I do like the boat design and I think we should have the date on. Just wondered whether we could put 29th July 2006 rather than the numbers. ( In the Uk we put the numbers round the other way and it doesn't half get me muddled 28- 7 -06, as my tag says I get easily confused lol :teeth: )

Jen - your family looks fab. I hope you had a really good time at the wedding ;)

We are thinking about missing dinner when we are in Key West. Dave and I really wanna see the sunset and having the late dinner would mean we are in the dinning room when it is taking place.

I dont know about anyone else but I am thinking about the cruise constantly now.

I have made a sign for my door today and IM thinking about getting a gift basket for DH.

Oh well i'd better go and get some sleep.

NIght all
Take care
;)

:thumbsup2 Jen, That is a great picture. ;) They looks so cute and handsome. Thanks for posting it for us to see. :)

Jen -- you have gorgeous/handsome kids. We are going to put our kids in tuxes, but we're renting them so we don't have to bring them. I'm sure it would be cheaper to buy them on ebay, but it is much easier to not tote them.

We just never have a reason to dress up, so I'm looking forward to formal night, and my boys are willing to "humor" me. :sunny:

Thanks for the kind words! The wedding was beautiful and the kids were well behaved so it made for a very enjoyable day!

Marci: We would like 5 large bands and 5 medium ( ordering extra b/c I know the kids will lose some)

Also, how much does it cost to rent the tux? Do you do it through Disney online?

Thanks,
Jen

Hi, Jen. It's cruiselineformal.com Cruiseline Formalwear is the name of the company. We rented from them the last time. I haven't called them yet to verify that they are still doing children. I'm going to call them later when they open to verify and make sure I know what measurements to take. You have to pre-order for the kids -- can't wait until on board. When we got them last time, one of the shirts had to be altered, but they quickly did that on board.

Thanks Marci! I think I'm gonna have to choose my battles and I think I'll be more succesful with dressing up for Pirate night pirate: then formal night.

We'll see as we get closer how things turn out.

Jen

Hi all,

Sorry Ive not been on much this last week, but my back has been really stiff.
My little automatic car though has worked out really well. :thumbsup2

I keep crossing my fingers that it will hold out for the cruise! (I am not having a repeat of last year when I spent most of my time in my cabin)

Any way we are busy packing up our motorhome (RV) as we are going away tommorrow for a long weekend. It is another dog competition, so I hope it stops raining.

The counter on my DVC member page says 62 days :cheer2:

As you might have noticed from my posts I am thinking about upgrades quite a bit  . We are booked in cat 10. We have a town car booked from SSR @ 9am so that should get us to the port nice and early to enquire. A local phrase we say in the north east is " Shy bairns get nout" translated it means It cant hurt to ask!

Oh well I hope you are all fit and well.
Take care
Helen xx :wave2:
Your friend from across the pond ;)

;) Helen, best of luck this weekend. Let us know what happens. Goo luck at the port. :thumbsup2

:flower1: Morning Everyone! ;) Just wanted to tell everyone have a Happy and safe long holiday weekend. :thumbsup2 Is anyone doing anything special becides Helen? :sunny: We are going to get my son at school tomorrow so this will be a great weekend for us. :) He will be home for the summer :goodvibes

Good morning! We are headed to Austin tonight after my son's baseball games to visit our friends at their new lakehouse. My DH has three other friends from UT that get together at least once or twice a year. They also come up to stay with us to go to the UT/OU game every year, and we always have a lot of fun with their families.

I hope everyone has a safe and fun Memorial day weekend! :sunny:

Good morning everyone!

Marci - your weekend sounds busy but fun.
Jen - your children are beautiful! What a great picture!
wltdsnyfan - Have a fabulous weekend with you son coming home! My dd comes home on June 6th and I'm excited to have her back - even if I dread the hurricane that follows her! ;)
Helen - hope your back feels better and that you do well this weekend in the competition.

To anyone I might have missed or haven't gotten to "know" yet, I hope you have a great and safe holiday weekend. I know I'm planning on a frivoulous day today (my school is closed - but my dd school is NOT - so I get a day to myself! )

Have a great weekend everyone!
