Any one on 7-29-06 / 7 Night Western!!!! Is Back

Helen,

Here...on special occasions you traditionally give a real flower lei.

But there a lot of other types of leis made with nuts, silk flowers, and shells.

The shell leis will be easy for me to pack and they don't spoil so you can wear them again.

Though....I would love to bring fresh flower leis but the they would wilt in that July Florida heat. :sunny:

All the ideas sound good. My kids really enjoy getting and wearing the bands. I think thats a cool idea!

Is there a sail away party? I was thinking about bringing shell leis for our group and to be planned meet & greet. I haven't told DH about it...he already thinks I'm a Disnut :teeth:

I would join in on a magnet/postcard trade.

If I can think of anything else I'll be sure to post.

Suz....we were thinking about the Capt. Marvin also. What time are you going?

Aloha,
Jen

Jen we are going on Half day trip (10AM-1PM): Stingray City, snorkel, Date of trip(August 1, 2006) - looks like fun and a lot of people seem to recommend it over the disney trips to stingray city. :rolleyes1

Hello!!!

Our cable provider has been down for the last several days!!! UGHH!!!

Count me in on the lime bracelets-and let me know what to chip in!- and 3pm! The pirate bands is a great idea!

We are still freezing...today was the State Track meet and Abby had hurdles. WE were outside on metal bleachers in rain and 30 mph winds...and only about 40degree weather. I really couldn't complain...my daughter was in shorts and a t-shirt! Tomorrow doesn't look too much better and she gets to compete in the Parochial track meet finals! UGH!!!

The puppies are doing great! :thumbsup2 The dog hair is a little much...but the dogs have been so much fun. They love being together!

Well, I will get caught back up! In the mean time...know you were all missed! OH...Korea Ears, Welcome and Congratulations!!!

Tif

;) Tif, to be with out the internet for a few days, Oh My. :) It seams like weeks. :sad2: Tell them they better keep it going there are to many things going on on the dis board.

I know what you mean about the wind, the cold and the rain. It finally stoped here. Sitting on metal bleachers does not help. But I do agree I do not know how Abby could handle it. Noting on there legs or arms to keep them warm. How did Abby do?

Take care
Flo

:sunny: Hi! Everyone! I was sitting here this morning and thinking (guess about what)! ;) Eleven more Saturdays at home (counting day) and on the Twelfth we will be boarding the MAGIC. :woohoo: party: :boat:

I can’t contain myself any more. :goofy: The Hawaiian shirts that I ordered for my DH and DS and the matching dress I ordered for myself from the Disney store are supposed to be delivered on Monday. :flower: Also, my new luggage is supposed to be here today. I am sure I will think of other things to buy. :yay:

Have a great Day! :rainbow: I am hoping we don’t get any rain today. It is cold here. It is 43 as I type this. :teeth:

I know what you mean Flo - I too am very excited!
:yay:

Im not ordering any clothes or doing any shopping until the week before we go!

Im getting a new car tomorrow - well when I say new its 10yr old but in really excellent condition. The main reason its an automatic so will hopefully help my back.

Hope you all have a good weekend - Dave is off diving again and hopefully will be home soon.

Take care
:wave2:

TICK TICK TICK < Clock and calender can not move fast enough for me.

:teeth: I could not agree more with you on the clock and Calender. :hourglass I just did my on line check in for Guest information and Flight information. :woohoo:

Happy Mother's Day to y'all!!! Hope you are all enjoying!

As it turns out, Abby ended up 30th in the state for 100M hurdles! Yesterday she competed at our Parochial meet...she ran 5 races and did the high jump! She ended up winning the 200M and the Hurdles. She did nothing in the high jump...and is okay with it. Then she helped her team get 2nd in the 4x100 and third in the 4x200! It was cold but fun. We then had her party last night. We have been officially declared "cool" parents! Several parents talked with us at church today. We did the name game where you put famous peoples names on their backs and then they had to guess who they were. Fourteen fourteen year olds played for an hour and a half. And when some guessed theirs they came for new ones! WOOHOO!!! After we cooked out...Kick the Can was cancelled due to weather!...the kids went down and watched a movie. The best part was that we had three spies! Abby's two brothers and their friend! Then Tom would go down to check for garbage. Then it was the dog opening the door and getting down there. Then we did cake and they all came back up!!! It was a ball!

Well...I am soooooo looking forward to meeting you all!!!

Best ofdays!!!!!
tif

;) Tif, Sounds like a great party. Good job on the spies. I can't wait to meet everyone either. :cool1:

Hi Flo!!!

So, did your son get to come home for Mother's Day??

What did everybody do for Mom's Day?? We ended up seeing RV with Robin Williams. It was a riot...at least to us adults!

Hi Tif! Yes, he got home for Mother's Day. Baseball is over for this year. He was so happy to come home. He has not been home for a weekend since Christmas. ;)
:teeth: I have to tell you a story Tif. You know the area. He left Milwaukee on Friday night at 5:30 and did not get home till 9:00. Mind you it is about an 1 and 45 minutes at the most. There is so much construction going on in Milwaukee that they had rams blocked. He called the house about 8 times. Every detour he took he ended up in the wrong place. He ended up taking 43 to 90.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Our boys played the championship game today and our team won :cool1: Jonathan (10) had the big hit of the game driving in 2 runs and got the game ball....what a wonderful way for him to end the season as he was struggling with his hitting for a while.

Then we had a family dinner and I had to rush home to get my cruise ressies!

I was able to book Palo dinner for Tuesday night at 7:00.
I planning on booking the eco tour at CC also but was having problems with the site and have to call that one in tomorrow. Also got Flounder's time for DD. So I'm :woohoo: :woohoo: :teeth:

This weekend my cousin is getting married so we will be very busy with wedding things...Jonathan is an usher and Justin is the ring bearer :groom:

Aloha,
Jen

Jen, Tell the boys congrats! :thumbsup2 I bet Jonathan was beaming from ear to ear with the hit. :yay: Good for him. :cool1: Is the season over for them now or since they won there go further?
Sounds like the wedding is going to be fun. Take pictures and post if you can. ;)

Well time to go get ready for work. :teeth: Bye!

Tif -- tell Abby congrats on her track achievements! Way to go!

Jen -- congrats to Jonathan on the game winning runs!

Only one more week of soccer (three make-up games this week, one regular game and we are traveling to Lake Granbury for my older son's soccer tournament on Saturday) and three more weeks of baseball -- two games tonight, one on Thursday, one on Friday and a make-up game on Saturday. I'm hoping we have good weather for the next few weeks so that we don't have to go the make-up route again.

Plus, my kids get out of school on Thursday!

A beyond busy week, but I'll be getting more organized soon on the cruise for our shirts, sign, autograph books and the lime green silicone bands.

Have a great week, ya'll! :sunny:

;) Hi!

Jen...congrats to Jonathan and Justin! Hope they have lots of fun being part of the wedding! Will they be in tuxes? :groom:

Marci...good luck this week! You can do it! :cheer2: When everything is going nutty remember to take time to breathe. Imagine taking a deck chair up at the Quiet Cove with just the gentlest of breezes blowing across you. :cloud9: Then face the rest of the day!

Flo...glad he made it home! Sounds like it was an absolute nightmare!!! :scared1:

Helen...how is the new vehicle!!??? :thumbsup2 I hope it makes things a little easier on your back. Tom's mom has bad hips and the funny thing, mini-vans are the most comfortable for her! Easy in and easy out! It gets so cold here that her boys...there are four plus two sons-in-law...that they got her heated seats! :teeth:

To all, CSI Miami season finale tonight!!! Yikes! Looks intense! Any theories???

See ya!
tif :tink:

:) Marci, good luck on your very Hectic week. :teeth: Just think in a little over 2 months you will be relaxing on the Magic :boat: and spring sports (for all of us) will just be a memory. ;)

It was nice to have him home for the weekend. ;) On the 27th we go move him home. :p Then we have to find room for all the things that he has accumulated at school. He is a pack rate.
I already started to shop. :woohoo: Today I got a box from Disney. :Pinkbounc In it were the matching shirts for DH and DS. I bought a sundress that matches the shirts. I also bought the sandals to match. I was thinking we might take a picture in them. Before this box a couple of weeks ago I got some clothes from me. My DH asked me if I was done. I told him for now.

My DH made are door sign already. It is neat.

Tif: As far as CSI Miami I don’t know what is going to happen. I think she is gone, but I cannot figure out who the Mole is. I know I will be sitting in front of my TV for it.

Good Morning Everyone! Sounds like everyone is in the midst of the hectic May wind-down from school, sports, etc. I know I'm really looking forward to a more relaxed summer pace :)
We also received a box from disney yesterday  - 3 matching Mickey dresses - and mine actually fits! :rotfl2: I wish I could say they same about the t-shirts I ordered. I designed them from the disney design your own. I ordered a fitted for older dd and myself (mine was an adult large) - dd #3 was a youth size 6-8 and while my shirt is longer than hers - her shirt was actually larger than mine! While I can stretch the shirt and wear it - it is sending my 12 yo into screams of mortification - "OMG MOM - you Can't wear that!" :rotfl: (I won't - but her reaction was kind of fun - now she knows how I feel sometimes ;) ) I'll see if they used a youth large and try to return it. If not, I guess the little one has a new sleep shirt.

We are so excited! I got up at 3:00 am and booked our excursions. We are going to Xcaret in Cozumel. Is anyone else? I decided to rent a little electric car in Key West and do our own thing (Butterfly Museum, Hemingway house, etc.) and then out to the beach. I also booked booked (outside Disney) a sail/snorkel day in Cayman Islands. Is anyone else booking outside Disney?

Hope you all have a great day! DD is home sick again today so I'm planning on catching up on CSI so I can watch the season finale!
