Did you like them? Did they have alot of room? Was it worth the money? We stayed in a 2 bedroom at OKW last year and loved it!! We thought about giving the Beach Club Villas a try. Any input?

Thanks!!

  Oops - I didn't realize that!!! Thanks for letting me know.

We'll be there when the BCV's open July 1st, and we're staying at the YC. I'll make sure to stroll over and take some pictures, and ask to see one of the units. They look so pretty, I am sure they are going to be very popular!:)

I just wanted to say that they are the same size as the BWV's, approximately 300 square feet smaller than OKW (the number could be off just a bit), it has a full kitchen (albeit smaller), stackable washer & dryer, as well as a smaller whirlpool tub (but still plenty big). The Villa's haven't opened yet, but they share a color scheme close to the BWV's IMHO... They also allow guests the benefit of using Stormalong Bay, which is just great for young children as well as old alike.

I just viewed the model of the BCV at Boardwallk last week.

The two bedroom seems a little smaller than Boardwalk's two bedroom.

I mentioned that to the guide and she agreed.

However, the furnishings are nicer. There is a dvd player instead of a vcr.

In the eating area there is an oval table which seems to be roomier than he round table in the Boardwalk one/two bedrooms.

What they show you is studio/one bedroom. In the bedroom there is now a desk and a nightstand rather than two nightstands.

They have changed the layout of the bathroom in the one bedroom.

The guide also told us that in the dedicated two bedrooms you lose the wet bar that you have with the studio/one bedroom combo.

It was quite nice. We bought 100 points to add on to what we already have at Boardwalk prior to even seeing the model.

We can't wait to go back and stay there!

DBorges, I thought all 2 bedroom DVC villas were studio/one bedroom combo's. So you're saying that at BCV there is a true two bedroom (no connecting door) villa?? We rented points for a 2 bedroom and will be there this fall.

THERE ARE SOME dedicated 2 bedrooms that have no wet bar..

that is what we were told .

they DID NOT say anything other than that statement.

There are also some dedicated two bedroom units at VWL and also at VB. I am not sure about OKW and HHI, but think both of these have some dedicated two bedrooms.

BWV does NOT have any dedicated two bedroom units. They are all lock offs (combination of a studio and one bedroom). However, BWV does have some dedicated studios and some dedicated one bedroom units.

You can request the dedicated units, but there is no guarantee that you will actually be assigned one.

HTH.
