I tried this last time I went to WDW and it worked really well, so I figured it might give it a try again. I was hoping to be able to find at least a couple of new characters that I havn't been able to get a picture of in the past and I was wondering if anyone who has been in the parks recnetly has seen any of these harder-to-find characters out doing meet-and-greets (Not just in shows or parades)? Don't have any plans to do any character meals so it will have to be just finding them around the parks.

The Prince or Witch from Snow White
Jiminy Cricket and Stromboli from Pinocchio
Brer Bear from Song of the South
Prince Charming or Fairy Godmother from Cinderella
Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty
Bert and Mr. Penguin from Mary Poppins
Darkwing Duck
Rebecca Cunningham from Tale Spin
Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame
Megera from Hercules
Mulan and Shang from Mulan
Flik from A Bug's Life
Bullseye from Toy Story 2
Jane from Tarzan
Anyone from Atlantis (Not sure if they're still out)

I know a lot of these are har-to-find or very random characters and chances of finding some many be slim to none, but I figured this could help me know where the best places to look are and when they might be out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Prince Charming or Fairy Godmother from Cinderella

We saw both of them at 1900 Park fare when we ate there for dinner in May. HTH! If anyone has seen Figment or the Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh and knows where to find them, I'd appreciate knowing that:) Those two are not easy to find either!!

Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame was right outside Tony's Restaurant last month when we were there.

Brer Bear from Song of the South

Saw Brer Bear outside the photo shop, as you exit Splash Mtn.

Flik from A Bug's Life

Saw Flik at Animal Kingdom, signing autographs and getting pics. (Near the Tree on Discovery Island)

Just returned yesterday.

we saw Brer Bear twice at AK by the Lion King show

Oh, looking for characters is my favorite subject!!! :teeth:

Well, this was a couple of months ago (mid-May) but I met:

Stromboli and Frollo in the Fantasyland Character Festival - I was THRILLED as I never thought I would ever get Stromboli!!!

I also met Jiminy Cricket on the Epcot Holiday bus (on a Sunday), and I kept telling Jiminy how thrilled I was to finally meet him! He may have been on the bus for the Garden Festival, though.

I got Bert at MGM near the big hat, with Mary Poppins, and Meg was there with Hercules.

I saw the Prince from Snow White with Snow White at her usual location at the old Skyride landing area in Fantasyland, but I did not have my autograph book with me!!! Boy, do I regret that! I never saw him again on that trip.

On my January trip, we met Rebecca Cunningham and Mr. Penguin in that little area by the Toontown Train Station, where the Judges Tent exits. They were with a whole bunch of characters. This was on a Friday, and funny thing is that the previous May, I also only seen Rebecca and Mr. Pengiun on a Friday at the Toontown Train Station. Maybe they bring the characters out there more on Fridays/weekends? Not sure, but I was so thrilled to get them! :)

From your list, I am also looking for Fairy Godmother, any Prince, Shang, Jane, Atlantis anyone, Darkwing, and Bullseye. I also want the Muppets, Princess Atta, and Brer Fox! :) :) Good luck character hunting!

I think Bullseye is in the new interactive Goofy Country Dancing show at MK.
We also saw Megara and Bert at the MGM hat in August.

We saw Meg, Mulan & Shang all out in MGM at the beginning of June. Sorry, I don't recall where they were exactly. We came around the corner and there they were, along with 5-6 other characters.

Just back and we saw:

Brer Bear outside of Splash Mountain everytime we were there.

Frollo in MK in the area in front of the Exposition Hall.

Bullseye at MK in Goofy's Country Jamboree - not sure if he goes anywhere for character autographs, but he might.

Jane at AK in the entrace where differenct characters come out during the day. Saw her a lot.

Not on your list but we saw Launchpad McQuack at the entrance of AK one day - we had never seen him before so it was neat for us. It was funny cause a lot of people didn't know who he was and we overhead people saying it was Donald Duck (I guess he got a flight suit and a big bee sting on his chin - hahaha!)

We also saw Atta at AK, so I'm sure Flik still comes out.

Flik can usually be found at AK right before the bridge to Afrika (across from First Aid building) or sometimes he is across from Pizzafari on the road leading to Camp Minnie Mickey.

Sometimes Jan can be found right outside of AK.

And Stanley can now be seen out at Rafiki's Planet Watch.

Just so you don't get disappointed, Bullseye can't sign autographs, but he can pose for pictures. We had a card with his pciture on it for him to sign and he held up his big hooves and shook his head sadly -- very cute.

Frollo is the big mean bad guy, right? We only saw Clopin, the fool, in front of Exposition Hall, but that was 7 months ago (
:( sigh).

Our big catch last trip was Uncle Scrooge McDuck.

Happy character hunting!

What about Daisy Duck??? My daughter loves Daisy and we have looked for her for 6 years with no luck. DH asked a CM once about Daisy and he said she occasionally was seen in a parade, but not very often. What's up with that:confused:

gracelrm - We have seen Daisy Duck at Exposition Hall in the past. This trip (actually this July 4)we saw Daisy Duck in her Duckosaurus costume in Dinoland right outside of Chester and Hester's. It was a neat costume.

We found Daisy Duck at Rafiki's Planet Watch in AK two years ago, but since Pochahontas and Stanley are regulars there now, I doubt you'd find her in AK.

Ask at MK Town Hall when you enter the park where you might be able to find her for that day.

We just found a few weeks ago, Princess Atta at AK, Brer Bear outside Splash Mtn, Bulleye, Jessie and Woody together at Goofy's Country Jamboree (no autographs allowed), three of the Country Bears at MK Town Square entry area (Wendell, Shaker and Liverlips) and for some reason, LaunchPad McQuack was everywhere. Prince Charming is at Cinderella's Dinner at GF with Fairy Godmother who can also be found at Cinderella's breakfast.
Shang and Meg at regulars at MGM, near the Sorcerer's Hat.

There were definitely more characters out this year, we filled a whole autograph book! But most of them were ones we had met before.

We have not been able to find Jane from Tarzan on our past three trips, to find Jiminy is like a Holy Grail for me. :bounce:

We saw Mulan (with Snow White and Princess Aurora) at the International Gateway of Epcot.

Hugs for Eeyore--We saw Kermit and Miss Piggy in MGM. They were between Al's Toy Barn and Muppetvision. It had just finished raining and we were waiting on Woody and Buzz to come out of Al's (they can't come out in the rain). Right after we saw Woody, Buzz and Jessie, we turned the corner and there were Kermit and Miss Piggy.

Grace--We saw Daisy Duck at Donald's Breakfastasourus. Daisy and Donald gave the best interaction with my kids because they are so much shorter than the other characters, plus they are just so darn cuddly.

Is there a list anywhere with characters and where you are most likely to find them?

There are, but they can get outdated pretty fast as character locations tend to change every few months. I believe there is one on Intercot and one for all of the regular characters on Toonfinder.com, but not the randoms (which more of the harder-to-find characters are).

I got pictures with Daisy and Bullseye in April at MK. Bullseye was on one of the back walkway things close to Frontier Land (Brer Bear was with him). Daisy was in Town Square at MK.

I found Flik at AK in May not too far from the entrance, he was just over to the right before you get to the tree of life. :)
