Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

Hi,

My questions are:

Will our magic bands get sent to the uk?
No. You will need to pick them up at your resort when you check in. Current Magic Bands are not being sent overseas

Should my park tickets be showing as being linked or do they not show up for a package? Do I have to wait to receive paper tickets?
Do you have a confirmation number for your tickets? You might need to call Disney and have them link the tickets. It should be showing up for a package

When will I be able to check in/book fast passes?
People have been able to book FP+ 3-4 weeks in advance

Does the fact that we were able to choose magic bands mean we are in a trial? (we have never received an email invite or anything?)
No one is really getting emails now, it is simply open to anyone staying at a testing resort

Ok, absolutely dying here!! Our Magic Bands were supposedly shipped today (tracking number and everything) but when I try to track on with UPS it says there is no information yet with that number. What's been everyone's experience with this? I have read that some people have gotten them within hours of receiving their email and some that it took a bit longer. My husband has been teasing me relentlessly because I am like a kid at Christmas with these bands! I would love for them to be waiting for me when I get home but trying not to get my hopes up too high!! (Although it's probably too late for that!)

Ok, absolutely dying here!! Our Magic Bands were supposedly shipped today (tracking number and everything) but when I try to track on with UPS it says there is no information yet with that number.

The tracking email was from Disney saying they are sending them out. Disney has to send the package information to UPS before you will be able to track the package.

Thanks!! That's what I figured but I'm totally on pins and needles! I am still holding out hope since they (Disney) did give an estimated delivery of today!!! **crosses fingers**

We got our tracking email on 9/4 and they were delivered the same day.

The same thing happened to me. The tracking info loaded the next day, but our bands were already here. The info will probably be loaded by tomorrow and you should have the bands tomorrow, too.

Anyone NOT have to sign for their MagicBands when UPS to delivered them?

I got two sets (doing a split stay at 2 testing resorts), and didn't have to sign for either of them. UPS just left them on my porch.

Got our second set today and I like the pink a lot better than the blue, so I'm glad I went with two colors. I like both of DH's, too (orange and green). I still wish they had purple, though...

On Friday it said they were "being processed and will arrive soon". Today, it went back to saying the are "being customized and will ship soon". What's up with that?!

It sounds like most everyone gets them the next day, but not us. We arrive October 19 and many other DISers arriving the same day have received their bands...ours haven't even shipped yet.

I'm starting to wonder if something is wrong? Another "glitch" in the system?

You will most likely get them tomorrow, they ship next day air and it looks like everyone is getting them 29 days out. Sign up for UPS my choice, it's free and it will tell you when I package it set to be delivered to your house, because you will probably get the package before Disney emails you with the tracking.

Worse case scenario they will be waiting for you at your resort. Are you coming from the States?

Yes, Wisconsin. There's no logical reason (that I'm aware of) why they aren't shipping...we are at 26 days today.

27 days out for me and no bands yet, BUT if I remember rightly I had until Sept 22nd (yesterday) to customize them. I'm presuming they'll be here tomorrow.

Hmmm, that's weird. We're also Oct 19th and got ours Friday. If they don't ship tomorrow morning, I'd call just to check.

I agree call and check we check in at AOA and got them last week and check in at Poly Oct 20 and got that set today

It was odd though that we never got the email telling us to sign up. We actually just got on the mydisneyexperience to check it out one night and noticed that we had the option to customize the bands/pick the fastpass+ stuff.

I got my email a day or two after I got my magic bands and I got an actual letter in the mail today in inviting me to participate :rotf:

I was able to access FP+ first, with no notification. Then the Magic Bands customization showed up. Then my travel agent sent the "you are invited to test!" letter via email.

This was all over the course of one week - but it was a weird way to roll it out
