Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

I never said it was. I did say we are staying at pop & got the reservation for lunch at bog.

I said it, specifically that a MB helpline CM was insistent it could only be had by e-vite or monorail but know many here have it with neither. I've tried all the numbers and suggestions others have posted and the only certainty I've gathered is you either get it or you don't! I didn't.

Staying at Pop and got it for Oct 19....

Me too! We are just going for dessert @2:00pm. The addition of the "grey stuff" cupcake to the menu was the tipping point. Plus, BatB is DD's favorite, so we just have to get in there to see it. :goodvibes

Me too!! I'm totally excited!! Does anyone know why it doesn't show up in MDE? I took a screenshot...any others that got into their lunch ressie with this situation please update your outcome!!

I printed mine out but there is no reservation number or any other number on it. That is true for the fast pass plus but they show up in your plans on MDX.

We would love to book lunch at BoG but confused how to do it. I have picked out rides through fast pass+ but didn't see BoG restaurant on there?
Also, while it is very exciting to be able to pick out a few rides ahead of time, now that we will be getting magic bands, does that mean that we can't get any regular fast passes? Or do we still get a card too? I can't find anything that gives us the option of both.
Note- we are also entering MK late one day using the MNSSHP cards instead of the magic bands- I don't want to accidentally use a park day if we bring the magic bands with us. But since they are our room keys, we can't leave them at the hotel, can we?
And on another note, have 2 concerns about kids' magic bands- 1. how do you keep young kids from losing them/taking them off, and 2. does anyone know if the magic bands are actually safe for kids to wear?
And finally, anyone know if the magic bands should be kept away from cell phones or credit cards, etc.?
Apologies if these questions have already been answered. :)

We just got our invite to test out FP+ and are staying at the All Star Music for seven days. Now I have to do some serious research on where to place our three choices.
This anniversary trip just got much better!
Also thanks to everyone we booked lunch at BOG. I get to eat in Beast's Castle!

Right now, with the fp+ testing you will still be able to use the regular fp system with your Key To The World card just like normal.

People are saying don't link your not so scary tickets to your MDE as expel are unsure how that's gonna work with early entry, however if you have the physical ticket, like me, and already linked them, like me. Just don't enter the park with the magic band, instead enter with physical ticket. Unless you have a ticket and park hopper option for every single day, like me, then it doesn't mater if you scan the magic band to enter the park early.....I bought 7 days, plus the party.

As far as keeping kids from losing them, I have no clue, I'm mini-me-less. Perhaps hook them onto belt loops?

The magic bands are low frequency radio waves, we are bombarded with RF waves everyday, everywhere we go, while I'm not claiming 100% safe! I'm willing to say it's just as safe as living next to a radio station tower. Of course that's something you'll have to decide for your own. Disney puts safety above everything else, if it wasn't safe I don't think they would be having us wear them

Well, the MB test has been a massive fail for us so far and our trip is still a month away. Both of the kids hate them and say they don't want to wear them on our trip. My husband is concerned about the pacemaker warning in the package (I'm surprised I haven't seen this mentioned on here before) and he doesn't want to wear his. Mine rubs uncomfortably against my wrist bone.

Honestly, I didn't think I would like them (I have a hard time with anything on my wrist), but I did think the kids would think they were cool and I thought my husband would like the convenience. The kids were so excited about picking their colors, but they just don't like the bands. Oh well. As long as we always have the option to opt-out, it shouldn't matter that we're not fans of the newest technology.

Don't opt-out. I'd just take MBs with you, but use the RDIF KTTW card they will give you at checkin. You will still have your FP+ etc but just tap card instead of band. No worries :) They are interchangeable. Or don't wear your band and just pull it out of your bag when needed.

If you don't like them, don't use them, if you want FP+ though I think you need to use them. Nobody is stopping you from looping them through a belt buckle, or putting a safety pin through a whole and pinning it to a "Pin Lanyard" or Photopass Plus Lanyard. Toss them in a day bag if your traveling with on. There are plenty of options to USE them but not have them attached to you...

In regards to the pacemaker, well you don't want to mess with that if you have one so keep it the required (I think 6 to 9 inches away) from it just to be safe.

2 question:

Anyone see the parade or wishes fp+ yet for October dates?

Also is there anyway to load a diff reservation number into the system under the same username and password to see if my parents were invited. It put my username and password in and got my fast pass bit now I need to get on with my parents res to get them one. The 2 reservations r under my username.

Thanks jim

Hi,

Can anyone help please? I haven't read the whole thread so this might of already been asked so sorry if it has!

I'm from the uk,we are travelling to the world 27th October-3rd November for our honeymoon and staying at Pop Century. We booked on the Disney website direct. I had to phone Disney to get a number to link our reservation to my Disney experience, which has now worked and we have customised magic bands.

It will not let me choose any fast pass pluses though,do online check in and it doesn't say we have any park tickets linked. (We booked a package with resort, tickets and dining plan all in and haven't received any paper tickets from disney so was assuming we would just have them automatically linked on the magic band).

My questions are:

Will our magic bands get sent to the uk?
Should my park tickets be showing as being linked or do they not show up for a package? Do I have to wait to receive paper tickets?
When will I be able to check in/book fast passes?
Does the fact that we were able to choose magic bands mean we are in a trial? (we have never received an email invite or anything?)

Sorry I know thats a lot of questions, just totally confused!

Thanks in advance :)

We've decided to opt out of FP+. We're staying at a DVC and have UT tickets and no desire to deal with the headaches associated with linking them to MDE and dealing with all the problems that have come up, so we've decided not to link our tickets, thus no FP+ for us. So there really is no reason for us to carry them along, luckily. I'll probably try my MB out just to see if I like it more than just wearing it around the house.

You can still use the MB to get into room and charge stuff as well as ME..

Me I gonna get them UT tickets fixed with that crack IT Disney staff if it's the last thing I do LOL

Our Magic Bands have been shipped!! It says they should be here today! (Although it seems to early to track through UPS!) I am so tempted to stay home today so I can be here when they arrive! But, alas, I must go to work so we can actually afford to EAT while we're there!! Lol! :)
