Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

Is anyone seeing FP+ for Fantasmic the week of October 19th? I tried for multiple days during that week but don't see anything.

I wish they would show you if the FP+ was booked up. At least you would know if it was offered.

I am wondering if I am not seeing it because I have dining reservations that would conflict. I don't want to cancel my ADR until I know if I can get a FP+.

We are there 10/19 to 10/26 and I am not seeing any parades and fireworks reservations. Other testers have posted that they don't usually show up until closer to the date; guess we need to keep checking.

I have FP+ for Fantasmic on Oct 25th. It came up one day last week. It wasn't showing up before.

Our dates are Oct 19th-27th and we have Fantasmic and Illuminations. Are the other FP+ selections you have early in the day? Fantasmic only came up as an option when grouped with other options in the afternoon. The earliest FP+ I have the day I have Fantasmic is 2:55.

We are staying at POR from 9/30-10/8. We have been invited to be a part of the magic band program. As I've been reading about the magic band program, it looks like select resorts are participating in the program. POR is a big resort, so I'm not sure if they are doing it in sections of the resort or if everyone staying there will be invited. The magic bands give you access to your room, theme park access, fastpass+, dinner reservations, and even charge purchases with a swipe of the band at the register. Several months ago I've downloaded the "My Disney Experience" app to my phone and this is used along with the magic band program. With the app you can change or add plans even while you are in the park. Also online on Disney's theme park site, you also have access to the "My Disney Experience." I've been able to link my premier passport to the band and have added my fastpass+ choices and dinner reservations. The App keeps all your plans so you can check them at any time. We received notice early September that we were invited to participate and they overnighted personalized magic bands that you can choose your color.

The invitation is just a formality. Anyone staying at a testing resort is able to get Magic Bands and FP+. By 10/25 all resorts will be participating.

This did the trick. I made on of the FP+ late and then changed the attraction. Fantasmic came up but for the later of the two shows. I had wanted to early one but it is something for now. Thanks!

I saw posts that Illuminations is only on the weekends.

I am trying to get fireworks and MSEP during the week, thought I saw posts that those 2 show up closer to the actual date.

I was able to see an option for Fantasmic on Oct 23. Didn't take it because we already have the dining package reserved and I didn't want to give up an attraction FP+.

So I checked MDE last night and while I did not receive a formal invitation, I was able to get the band and make my FP selections. So excited to make the cut!

No, you cannot. The old FP machines can't read a MagicBand. But, for now, you can still use your KTTW card or ticket to pull FPs even while testing FP+/MBs.
