Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

Does anyone know how split stays will work with the band? Both of our resorts are test resorts - should we bring both bands? I'm sure we will anyways but I was just wondering if we were going to have to switch halfway through or our first one would be good for the whole stay.

Not to sure about this! We have a 3 resort split stay starting Sept. 27. All 3 resorts are testing. We will be getting 3 different sets of MB's that I customized (have already received the first set.) Some CM's have told me I need a different set for each resort, and some say not. So, I will pack all 3 boxes and I guess will see for myself when we get there! I will definitely report back here though.

There's the following in the MagicBand FAQs regarding multiple stays:

Q. Can I reuse my MagicBand or card the next time I visit Walt Disney World Resort?

A. Yes. If you have a MagicBand or card that you like, and it is in working condition, you can continue to use it when you return to Walt Disney World Resort.

MagicBands are currently being tested by a limited number of pre-selected Guests. Due to the nature of the test, we are unable to accommodate requests to participate.

If you have multiple MagicBands or cards, you can manage which ones are active in the MagicBand section of My Profile.

Tomorrow will be our 60 days call so FP+ should be available.

Will we be able to select FP for all of our trip or will it be one day at a time (making it 60 days out for every day of our trip)?

It's 60 days from the first day. So you will be able to plan for the whole week once you hit the 60 day mark from your first day.

Nope.

IllumiNations is available for weekend dates during my trip, but those don't coincide with the days we're going to EPCOT.

Fantasmic! is on the EasyWDW calendar for 10/19, but isn't showing up in FP+ for me. I think it's because park hours for that day have changed.

We're planning to hit up a mid-week MSEP/Wishes, and there doesn't appear to be any FP+ availability for that either.

At this point you should Be able to customize your magic bands. They are on the right hand side of my disney experience - "customize magic bands". I don't believe that you will be able to redeem fp+ without magic bands so if the option is not there I would call IT.

My Magic Bands appeared this morning (arrive Sept 28). NO email was sent, and I was looking for it, including checking my Spam folder.

Well, I thought since my Christmas Party tickets were not linking on the MDE website (said they were mailed our printed...) I would try the app and the barcode scanner. My tickets were printed at home. After I scanned the first ticket I got excited because it actually came up, however it says it is for some sort of Pirate & Princess Party? Is Disney reusing barcodes? Needless to say I didn't finish linking it. Even though I printed the tickets at home, can I call and have them send me regular Christmas Party tickets?

I'm not sure how accurate this is, but last night when I made reservations for Jan. the CM told me we could use the MB from our Oct. trip in Jan. I didn't ask about it, she just noticed we had a reservation in Oct. and brought it up.

I have a question.....it's one of those situations where you vaguely remember reading something so.....

Our package is for 7 nights and we have 5 day passes.
The 2 days without passes are:
1 day @ Typhoon Lagoon (don't have tickets yet) + MNSSHP that evening
1 day to relax at the resort

When I made my FP+ reservations I made them for all 7 days.
On the MNSSHP day I have FP+ for 3 attractions from 4pm to 7pm (this was done before I linked my MNSSHP tickets). I also have FP+ for 3 attractions at the Studios on our "relax at the resort" day since we might add a day to our passes and DD & I will go to the Studios just to use the FP+ we have.

Here's where I vaguely remember reading something ---- I thought you could only reserve FP+ for the number of days that you had tickets for. Did I read that right? Am I dreaming? I must be since I have 7 days of FP+ when I only have 5-day passes.....

I don't have answer to your question but here is another interesting "bug"(?) I have a six day ticket. I put in FP+ selections for the 2 days I am eligible at testing resort (bummer that the rest of my stay is before at non-testing) then for kicks I selected the last day available on calendar for my FP+ picks, you know like 14 days later. Once I did that it added another 10 days to pick FP+. Added at end of that then given another 10 days!

I tried to book for a 7th day because we arent sure which day will be a regular MK day and which day we are going to MNSSHP but it told me we had reached our limit for FP+ and it wouldnt let me book another day without canceling some from another day.

Im sure one of us caught a glitch in the system...if it was you..i sure hope I can catch that glitch too..lol

Yeah, sounds like a glitch alright.....hope you're able to get all the FP+s you need!

Just noticed we're both in Indiana --- I'm in Westfield .... about 45 minutes north of Indianapolis.

That is SO weird!

Sounds kinda like the "bug" that gave us free dining. When I used my dates (Check In Oct 19-Check Out Oct 26) at the Poly the system stated there was nothing available with the FD offer; I got the same answer when I called Disney.
Then I read here on the boards if I changed my dates to Oct 19-Oct 30 the system would give me FD; then all I'd have to do is change the reservation back to Oct 26 and the FD would stay. I called Disney and "tada!" it worked.

Gotta love those Disney bugs!

Is there a list of the Oct test resorts somewhere? Looking to make a RO reservation at one before our Nov package starts. Was thinking about AoA, but want to see what my options are.
