Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

If one switches resorts from a testing resort to a non-testing resort after selecting FP+s and customizing magic bands, will the magic bands and FP+ reservations still be active. I have heard they disappear from your reservations online, but has anyone actually tried this out?

I will be giving this a try in Oct. I'm starting at POP and moving to POFQ. MDE let me make FastPass+ selections for the duration of my trip. It would make sense that my selections while at POFQ would go away but I hope not. We'll see.

Did someone post on when the MBs should ship? For example, mine says I have until 9/22 to customize.

I think I have asked before and have been answered but my head is spinning. Just had a 4 hour meeting with my mom (who has alzheimers) and a VA benefit review board....

My reward for getting through that is playing on the DISboards....

You can go back and make changes until the cut off date. They will be shipped once the cut off date has past.

I never received an email, but in "my experience" i noticed that I was allowed to customized my bands and add FP+. I'm going to disney on 10/12 - 10/19. It was extremely simple to do. Excited.

How will you know if you can order magicbands without getting an email or letter in the mail? Would it say so under the manage magic bands button? Has anyone posted anywhere how the whole Process looks?

'Manage MagicBands' will change to 'Personalize MagicBands' if you are eligible. Some people have needed to complete (or redo without changes) the on-line check-in process to get the link to change.

I just called IT about my FP+. We are staying at POR in October. I customized my MB's but the link to add FP+ that was there yesterday is gone now. She says I need to wait for the invite. I mentioned that many others have booked without the invite but she says I am wrong....

What are your dates. You aren't able to do fp+ until 60 days out.

Our dilemma is we have a large group going 2nd week of November. Some will stay at WL. Some at AoA. We would love to do FP+, but it kind of has to be an all or nothing thing. Hard enough to keep the group together as it is. AoA seems likely to continue as a test resort into Nov. WL is ???, not yet included. We would love to all try FP+ but I don't want to have to switch resorts to get everyone on board. Do you guys think most resorts will be eligible by Nov? Has anyone heard any rumors about WL in Nov or how big the FP+ expansion may be for Nov? Thank you in advance.

Just wanted to say that if you register with my Disney experience one of the side apps is FP+ management. I went on and was able to set up to 3 FP a day for one park daily. I'm going to Disney Oct 24-Oct27.

The only weekend night we will be in the parks will be on a Saturday, and we are already doing the Dessert Party. Our other MK day, DHS day, and 2 Epcot days are weeknights.

The testing has only been on the weekends for fireworks and shows so far. But the good news is you don't really need special viewing areas to nab a great spot for Wishes or Illuminations!

We are going in Sept. At first Wishes, MSEP, etc were not offered. As our date got closer, maybe 2 weeks, they were. In order to see them I had to completely reselect my FP+ for the entire day. Switching to another time or attraction did not work. I got MSEP and Wishes on a Monday night.

WL is not a test resort for the bands/FP+.

We just got an email this morning that we were selected for the magic bands in October. Is it likely that we will get to do fast pass + too? I would love to try it on this trip when we won't have our six kids with us...
